Halls are pleased to receive instructions from SG & AF Topham to disperse his Farm Machinery.
Alongside this sale is the Dispersal on behalf of JS & DG Thelwell, both parties now retired from
farming.
The venue for the sale is Fields Farm, Willington, Malpas SY14 7LR by kind permission of well known
contractor Charlie Beckett.
The Sale comprises of a broad range of Genuine Farm Equipment you would expect from a Livestock
Holding including Modern & Vintage Equipment, as well as Heritage items such as Stone Troughs.
This will be the first sale in 2021 without restrictions, we very much look forward to seeing you!

Collection
All items purchased from the sale can only be removed when paid for in full
(see conditions of the sale).
All lots must be removed from the sale within 7 days.
Compulsory Registration
All purchasers must register their name & address prior to purchasing. They will then be given a
buyers card together with a buyers number printed on – this must be produced at each purchase.
You need register only once, as your number will be a permanent buyers number.
When registering you must supply a positive form of identification. You can either register prior to
the sale at Halls’ Battlefield Office or on the morning of the sale.
Loading Assistance loading will be available & unloading on the day of sale. No responsibility will be accepted by the auctioneers for any damages sustained to any lots. No liability can be accepted by the Auctioneers for any damages sustained to any Lots whilst in use Transport The auctioneers will be pleased to assist in organizing transport. Money Laundering Regulations Under the Money Laundering Regulations 2003, for legal reasons, we do not accept; A single cash payment of €10,000 or more for goods, Several cash payments for a single transaction totalling €10,000 or more, including a series of payments and payments on account, Cash payments totalling €10,000 or more which appear to have been broken down into smaller amounts so that they fall below the high value payment limit. Our Rights Halls Holdings Ltd reserves the right to refuse a transaction at any time, should suspicion arise that it may be connected to money laundering or any other criminal activity. In addition, we will be obliged to report it to the relevant authorities and in line with regulations, are prohibited from disclosing this to the client. Insurance of Goods Vendors & purchasers are reminded that they are solely responsible for insurance of items whilst they are sitting in our yard. If required, you must make your own insurance arrangements. Hour, Milometer & Kilometer Readings Any hour, milometer or kilometre readings recorded on any Lot or mentioned in this catalogue cannot be guaranteed unless stated otherwise. Private Treaty Sales Any goods bought privately after the sale must be paid for through our offices. It is an offence not to report the transaction. Presentation of Lots The Auctioneers will use every endeavor to ensure that all Lots listed in the catalogue are presented for sale. The Auctioneers will not entertain any claim for expenses incurred in abortive attendance at the sale. RICS Client Money Protection Scheme All financial transactions within this market are conducted with the Auctioneers acting as principal. Sale proceeds are not paid into a client bank account and, consequently, the RICS Client Money Protection Scheme (CMPS) will not apply to protect the vendor.
Payment Terms
All accounts must be settled on the day of sale, no credit will be available. Any prospective
purchaser’s unknown to the auctioneers and wishing to pay by cheque must make the following
arrangements at least 7 days prior to the sale:
1. Inform your bank manager that you wish to pay by cheque. Tell them the likely amount that you
intend to spend, and instruct him to contact us via email market@hallsgb.com or Tel: 01743 462
620 in order to accept your cheque.
2. Credit cards NOT accepted
3. Debit cards accepted. Please Note there will be a 2% fee on all business/Commercial Debit

Misrepresentation Act 1967
The Auctioneers for themselves and the vendors, whose agents they are, give notice that the
descriptions in this catalogue, although believed to be correct, are not guaranteed as to age or year.
Prospective purchasers must satisfy themselves, by inspection or otherwise as the details of each
lot.
Overseas Buyers
Overseas purchasers must supply the Auctioneers with their VAT/FISCAL number. They will be
required to pay the purchase price in full on the sale day plus 20% deposit which is the equivalent to
the VAT. This deposit will be refunded in full if the Auctioneers receive within 3 months a Bill of
Loading or Certificate of Shipment from the Shipping or Transport Co. showing the date, place &
vessel involved as proof of shipment for HM Customs & Excise. Photocopies WILL NOT be accepted
unless authenticated by Customs & Excise.
This condition will be strictly adhered to without exception.
Safety Warning
For the sake of your own safety & that of others please note:
1 Only park in designated parking areas.
2 It is preferable that dogs are not brought to the sale but if so they must be kept under control
at all times & any mess cleaned up.
3 All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
4 Please be aware that the sale site may be uneven & slippery so take care & wear appropriate
footwear.
5 Care must be taken when inspecting items for sale. Items may move. Vehicles & Machinery may
only be operated with the Auctioneers authorisation.
6 Do Not Enter areas that are fenced or taped off.
7 Vendors & Purchasers & their agents are under a duty of care to others when removing items
from the sale venue & should use appropriate protective equipment or clothing. All transport &
lifting equipment must conform to current Health & Safety Executive & Road Traffic Act
requirements. In the case of any emergency all visitors should assemble in the car parking area
