After the last two years, who could not be excited about 2022?
But honestly, I am even more excited than I was when I first launched IHIF in
Berlin back in 1998.
When we delivered Future Hospitality Summit (FHS) with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry
of Tourism and the G20 Secretariat in 2020, our vision was to explore big ideas and
tackle the challenges facing the hospitality industry.
This vision captured the overwhelming support of a very resilient global
hospitality sector! Thousands of industry decision makers, investors and
government representatives joined hundreds of global hospitality CEOs from
around the planet to take part in critical discussions and meetings at FHS.
Since then, our team at the bench has been working tirelessly behind the scenes
to redesign FHS, considering the current economic and travel landscapes, so that
you can get most out of your participation. We engaged the FHS community,
discussed and listened to what they wanted out of FHS - the feedback was clear!
The Saudi Arabian opportunity requires its own distinct platform, while the Middle
East region, where we have been operating hospitality investment conferences
for the past 18 years, continues to require its own focus.
FHS returns in 2022, with not just one, but two monumental and distinct
programmes. FHS Saudi Arabia takes place in May in Riyadh, and FHS Middle
East, which focuses on the wider region, takes place in September in Dubai. We
are bringing together in-person, the active and high-level investment
communities from these incredibly diverse and opportunity-packed markets - to
‘reimage horizons’ for hospitality, restaurants, education, travel, sustainability and
innovation. A hybrid format will be available for those who would like to access
some of the conference sessions remotely.
