                                                     oval leaves and dainty white flowers.

Also known as Blazing Star, this native
Canadian plant is beloved by butterflies. A
spectacular plant, Liatris grows three-foot-high
purple spikes and, unusually, they bloom from
the top down. Originally a prairie flower,
Liatris likes lots of sun. It grows from a corm, a

LILY OF THE VALLEY
