2020 Postgraduate Guide 9 YOUR TIME COMMITMENT Our standard 12-subject master’s program can be completed in 16 months (four semesters) or as little as 12 months. This requires a full-time study load of three to four subjects per semester with each subject requiring, on average, one two-hour lecture and one two-hour tutorial per week.

You will also need to allocate approximately six hours per subject, per week, for at-home preparation, additional reading and assignments. This will vary from subject to subject and depending on the timing within the semester. We also offer the option of part-time study with a reduced subject load and some after hours and intensive mode subjects available is some degrees students that may fit in better with their work and life commitments.
