TEMECULA ART & STREET PAINTING FESTIVAL
FRI, SEP 16, 3-7pm | SAT, SEP 17, 10am-5pm
Paintings, ceramics, jewelry, and photography set the stage for a
weekend of creativity at the Art & Street Painting Festival. In addition
to outdoor exhibitors, chalk artists will be working on street murals.
Festival will also include Cartoona-Palooza, Temecula’s own Mini
Con! Fans of Anime, Cartooning & Comics can come together for an
Art and Cosplay contest! Applications for Art Exhibitors and Chalk
Artists will be available online beginning June 16 at:

National Trails Day
          Bring your bike and your helmet as we celebrate
               National Trails Day! You can enjoy free
            refreshments, learn about bicycle safety and
          explore new trails while participating in a guided
          bike ride. Meet at the park and ride across from

Build Your Own Boat Regatta

                                                       Do you think you can sail away as a winner
                                                       or will your boat sink under pressure? This
                                                       is your chance to come in first place at the
                                                         Build Your Own Boat Regatta. First, your
                                                        team will be provided with cardboard and
                                                       duct tape to build a 2-person vessel. Then
                                                        you will choose two team members to sail
                                                       your boat to victory. If your group chooses
                                                          to build more than one boat, you must
                                                                    register accordingly.

        PRESCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
 The Community Services Department offers two Preschool/Kinder Enrichment
 drop-off programs: Miss Michelle’s Tiny Tots and Bear Cub University.
 These are structured recreational programs designed for children ages 3-5.
 These are not licensed child care programs. Children must be potty trained
 to attend. Participation in more than one session or more than one
 program at a time is prohibited. Registration in advance for future sessions
 is encouraged to secure enrollment. Once registration begins, participants
 may enroll in Session A, B, C or D at one time provided the session dates
 do not overlap. Priority is given to Temecula residents for the first 7 days of
 registration. Please review program descriptions for detailed class information

                                                                                     Bear Cub University
                                                                                     Watch your little “Bear Cub” grow and thrive in this structured drop-off
                                                                                     enrichment program designed to help your preschooler explore, experiment,
                                                                                     and discover things on their own through a variety of methods that are a
                                                                                     mixture of fun and learning! Each session is packed with fun-filled educational
                                                                                     activities and festivities! Bear Cub University makes use of a hands-on, weekly-
                                                                                     thematic, interactive curriculum that offers social interaction, calendar/circle
                                                                                     time, literacy, music/movement, arts & crafts, and community building along
                                                                                     with the practice of sight words, numbers, letters, colors, and shapes. Bear Cub
                                                                                     participants are taught through both large group instruction and small group
                                                                                     “activity station rotation.” The M/W Pre-Kinder Cubs is for students starting T/K
                                                                                     or Kinder in August 2023 or 2024. The T/TH Kinder Cubs is for children starting
                                                                                     T/K or Kinder in August 2023. A healthy snack is provided daily. Children must
                                                                                     be potty trained to attend. Please bring a medium-sized bucket decorated
