WHO WE ARE
ABOUT THE B+ FOUNDATION The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation® honors the life of Andrew McDonough. Andrew battled leukemia, septic shock and complications of childhood cancer for 167 days before passing away on July 14, 2007, at the age of 14. Andrew’s B+ blood type became his family’s and friends’ motto throughout his fight against childhood cancer – to “Be Positive.” As the nation’s largest provider of financial support to children and families fighting childhood cancer, The B+ Foundation aims to “Do Good” for children affected by childhood cancer by funding critical, cutting-edge cancer research, providing financial assistance to families, and increasing awareness of childhood cancer through nation-wide advocacy and outreach.
ABOUT BEPOSNYC The Young Professionals NYC Chapter of The B+ Foundation (“BePosNYC”) was founded in 2013 to support the mission of The B+ Foundation in the New York metro area. BePosNYC is committed to bringing together young people to further raise awareness and money to fund critical childhood cancer research and assist families of kids with cancer nationwide. Each year, BePosNYC engages thousands of 21-39 year olds in the New York City area through annual initiatives and events, the largest of which is the annual Golden Gala benefit. EVENT INFO The sixth-annual Golden Gala will take place on Friday, April 24, 2020, at 9:00 PM at 26 Bridge in Dumbo, New York City. As BePosNYC’s largest event, the Golden Gala brings together hundreds of people each year in a fun, high-energy setting to raise money, raise awareness, and celebrate the kids who fight so hard every day.
MONETARY SUPPORT
LEVEL 1 SUPPORT: $2,500 LEVEL 1 BENEFITS: • Official designation as a “Proud Supporter of BePosNYC” • Logo inclusion on all event promotional materials • Static logo inclusion on the event website • Two (2) branded social media posts from @BePosNYC social accounts • Opportunity to distribute collateral at the event • Two (2) general admission tickets to the Golden Gala
LEVEL 2 SUPPORT: $5,000 LEVEL 2 BENEFITS • All level 1 benefits, plus: • Category exclusivity • Verbal recognition at the event • Logo inclusion in all VIP gift bags • Four (4) total general admission tickets to the Golden Gala • Right of first refusal for all 2020-2021 BePosNYC events
LEVEL 3 SUPPORT: $10,000 LEVEL 3 BENEFITS • All Level 1 and Level 2 benefits, plus • Four (4) VIP tickets + four (4) general admission tickets to the Golden Gala (eight (8) tickets total) • Logo inclusion on the step & repeat and applicable party favors • Branding opportunities on event activations (e.g., photo booth, signature cocktail, VIP lounge)
IN-KIND SUPPORT
FOOD AND BEVERAGE DONATION Food items will be served throughout the night and beverage items will be displayed on the bar and highlighted throughout the event for maximum exposure and guest engagement. We ask that all 350+ guests get the chance to enjoy your delicious product. BENEFITS: • Category Exclusivity • Official designation as a “Proud Supporter of BePosNYC” • Two (2) branded social media posts from @BePosNYC social accounts • Opportunity to distribute collateral at the event • Branding opportunities for a signature cocktail or signature dish
SILENT AUCTION PRODUCT DONATION Silent auction items will be displayed and highlighted throughout the event for maximum exposure and guest engagement. We ask that stand-alone auction items have a minimum $300 value. Please note that items with lesser value may be bundled. BENEFITS: • Official designation as a “Proud Supporter of BePosNYC” • Two (2) branded social media posts from @BePosNYC social accounts • Static logo inclusion on the event website • Logo inclusion in all VIP gift bags • Verbal recognition at the event
VIP GIFT BAG PRODUCT DONATION Fifty (50) premium VIP tickets are available for purchase at a higher cost, and each one of these special guests will take home an exclusive BePosNYC VIP gift bag. This special opportunity for product inclusion ensures direct, targeted outreach to our VIP guests. We ask for a minimum of fifty (50) items to fulfill all of our VIP guests.
