Ebotse Links is a Peter Matkovich Signature design golf course, and is currently ranked the 38th best
course by Golf Digest SA. Our Links course has 7 holes on the water and has been built to US PGA
specifications.

We need your support
SPONSORSHIP
We are requesting that companies please come on board as a sponsor for this event. Sponsorship fees
raised will go towards assisting the Winners of the MISS EKURHULENI EMPOWERMENT PAGEANT to
pay for their studies. The Gala event for the crowning of our 2021 / 2022 winners will take place on the
11th December 2021.
Sponsorship Fees of the various holes will enable the sponsor to
place any free standing branding on the Hole that is sponsored
and the costs will vary per hole as follows: -
R2500 - Hole 1 / 3 / 4 / 6 / 7 / 10 / 12 / 13 / 14 / 16 / 17
R3500 - Hole 2 / 8 / 11
R5000 - Hole 5 / 9 / 15
Longest Drive will apply on hole 5
Nearest the pin competition or hole in one will apply on hole 15
R8000 - Hole 18
R5000 - Area around Pro Shop
R5000 - Top Deck Area - This is the upper deck of the Club
House where you will tee off to the green below. The nearest to
the pin or hole in one will win the grand prize.
Should a company wish to sponsor shooters / sample drinks etc
on any hole, the relevant fee for the hole will apply plus an
additional R500 corkage fee. These shooters / drinks etc are to
be donated to the event to either be sold to the players on the day by the finalists for a nominal fee, to
increase the amount raised for the study bursaries, or simply handed out to the players complimentary.
RETURN ON YOUR INVESTMENT
In return for sponsoring a hole, your company will be able to place
free standing branding, flying banners, gazebo or parasol umbrellas at
your sponsored hole.
The banner handling will be done by the Ebotse staff in order to
ensure that irrigation pipes,
electrical wires etc are not damaged
by hammering in ground stakes and
most importantly that your branding
does not affect the players view of
the course and gives you maximum
exposure.
All branding must be dropped off at
the club pro shop by no later than
the 08th September and all bags
clearly marked with your company
name.
GIFTS AND PRIZES
In order for this event to be a success, we would like to offer our players some incredible prizes. The
prizes will be given away during the prizegiving at the Players Dinner and companies who come on
board with prizes will be able to place pull-up free-standing branding in the Venue for the Prizegiving.
We need the following amazing prizes and they can be branded with your corporate branding if you
wish to get more exposure from your sponsorship. It would also be great if we could hand out trophies to
the players, therefore the sponsorship of these would be appreciated.
Prizes are required for the players and can be anything from a TV, Gas Braai, Golf clubs, Golf apparel,
golf balls, anything golfing related, Pro shop gift vouchers, Whiskey, Brandy, Wine
etc
We will require gifts to be handed out for these prizes:
Hole in one on Hole 15
Nearest to the Pin on Hole 15
Longest Drive on Hole 5
Best Four Ball overall for the day - 4 of the same prizes are required.
Hole in one from the Top Deck
Nearest to the Pin from the Top Deck
Lucky draw prizes such as Kitchen Appliances, Spa Days / Vouchers, Alcohol Hampers etc
Prizes for the Raffle for the “Man Crate”
Prizes for the Raffle for the “Ladies Hamper”
120 bags to be used for the goody bags
120 gifts or corporate gifts to go into the goody bag.
Sponsored Wine / Beer to place in a Bucket on the table for the Prize giving dinner
50 T-shirts which your company can brand which will be worn by the Miss Ekurhuleni finalists
for the day.
120 Branded Golf T-Shirts to be worn by the players for the day.
In addition we are looking for companies to sponsor R10000 which can be used towards the study
bursaries for the winners and this cheque can be handed over at the Golf Day Dinner Prize Giving,
thereby affording your company additional exposure.
RETURN ON YOUR INVESTMENT FOR SPONSORING A HOLE & OR PRIZES
Your company logo will appear on our social media pages.
All the finalists will promote your company by liking & sharing your company social media pages
and will also like and share any posts your company has on social media leading up to the golf day.
Your company will be allowed to place free standing branding in the venue for the Gala Dinner
and will have your company logo printed on all our thank you cards handed to the players.
Your company will be given the opportunity to add any pamphlets or business cards into the goody
bags given to the players.
As companies confirm participation in the Golf day as a Hole Sponsor or Gift Sponsor there will be
a specific announcement made on social media of your sponsorship and involvement with the golf
day which will be shared across all our social media platforms including shared by the finalists.
