INSERT One of the Northern Beaches’ most popular annual events is set

communities. Mayor Michael Regan said Manly Jazz was one of
the highlights of Council’s events calendar, which attracted
Northern beaches thousands of jazz lovers to the iconic beach sands of Manly. “We
might not be able to get together this year, but we can still
council enjoy some incredible artists on the dedicated Manly Jazz
Festival website,” Cr Regan said. “Behind the scenes the team,
including the Manly Jazz Festival committee is working hard to
secure artists and the program will be announced shortly."

Lessons of the lark
INSERT Lark Distillery has launched a new ‘Lessons of the Lark’ online
IMAGE series, allowing whiskey fans from around the world to learn and
share in the Lark story. With a new online event each month,
lessons will introduce viewers to Tasmania, its artisan products
and share a special Lark story. The lessons will also feature locals
who contribute to Tasmania’s whisky and spirit industry, and the

Guula Ngurra National Park for koalas
INSERT New South Wales has a new National Park dedicated to
IMAGE protecting koalas for future generations. The Guula Ngurra,
which means 'Koala Country' in the Gundungurra Aboriginal
language, National Park will play an important role in ensuring
the future of koalas in the wild. As well as protecting vital koala
habitat, the park is home to rare vegetation and many
NSW National threatened species such as glossy-black cockatoo.
Parks The creation of the new Guula Ngurra National Park in the NSW
Southern Highlands, was made possible due to a valuable
contribution by the NSW Environmental Trust. Located about 25
kilometres northwest of Bowral, the 3,358 hectare Park
comprises what was 2,148 hectare Tugalong Station, the 402
hectare Little Forest West property and an 808 hectare outlier of
NSW National parks

New boardwalk at murujuga rock art site
INSERT Visitors to Murujuga National Park in the Pilbara, Western
IMAGE Australia now have improved access to viewing culturally
significant rock art with a new walking trail and signage. The
Ngajarli Trail helps showcase the national park’s array of rock art,
with some estimated to be more than 45,000 years old.
Interpretive signage has also been added to educate visitors on
Murujuga the cultural importance of the area. The modern infrastructure
allows greater access for a wider range of people through tours
National Park run by the Murujuga Aboriginal Corporation, and other
businesses owned by traditional owners. The 700-metre trail is
designed for universal access, ensuring this facility can be
enjoyed by everyone.

Wildflower Trails brochure, helping readers discover medicinal,
nutritional and cultural significance of some of WA's plants and
wildflowers. WA's wildflowers rank among the most spectacular
Western flower displays in the world. Between July and October, many
parts of the State become blankets of colour with everything
Australian from tiny crimson myrtles, dainty smokebush, fiery mountain
Indigenous bells and more than 150 varieties of orchids coming into bloom.

INSERT While Ponyfish Island is closed under COVID-19 restrictions, the
IMAGE venue has kicked off a hefty raft of renovations that'll see it
transformed into a chic over-water drinking destination. The
space is receiving a total overhaul of every last corner but for the
original frame of the bar. When doors open in late spring,
expect a refined mix of colours, textures and curves, with
additional lounge areas, new lighting, and Palm
ponyfish Springs-inspired custom-made shades. The front sculpture has
also been given the boot, leaving room for extra seating and a
