2HELLO AND WELCOME TO THE SAGE READING HALF MARATHON
On behalf of Sage colleagues around the UK, we’re so happy you’re here with us. At Sage, we love running and raising
money for local charities and communities. We have nothing but admiration for people like you who are taking on a
personal challenge today – whether it’s your first run, or you’re going for a PB.
I am especially proud that the Sage Reading Half Marathon is the next stop on Sage Foundation’s $1 Million Challenge.
That’s our pledge to reach our fundraising goal by getting active and having fun, so we can help build a brighter
future for our communities around the world — and we are not going to stop until it’s achieved. So far we’ve raised
over $270,000 across 10 countries for 40 local charities, and over 670 runners have joined events in South Africa, the
UK, Canada and Brazil. Reading is home to Sage People and we’re thrilled that charities right here will benefit from
Team Sage running today.
So, remember - we are in this together today, let’s all make it count.
