Pelo & Hart TM is the brainchild of Mirna de Hart who started the
social fashion brand in 2015 with money she won from the ILO
(International Labour Organisation) for a youth entrepreneurship
programme she initiated. This initial idea culminated in the
combination of passions of women from different South African
cultures working together to develop an international fashion
brand based on the vibrancy of South Africa. This year the brand
decided to design and print its own fabrics to grow the brand –
with the goal being to have a ready-to-wear fashion line that can
be scaled for the boutique and retail markets.
Showcasing the unique elements of South Africa, from township to
wildlife – Pelo & Hart are inspired by the South African landscape
and culture, with elements of both showing in their use of colour
in the clothing designs.

Takka Trading t/a Seoks Beads
Seoks Beads is a homegrown proudly South African brand, with a
mission of creating and offering unique, innovative and functional
accessories for the modern customer.
The pieces are of a high quality and come at affordable reasonable
prices.
The accessory designer company was inspired by a beautiful
beaded piece that founder Kgomotso Ranta loved but could not
afford. She had always been skilled with her hands and vowed to
try and make her own version of the beaded piece. Although she
never reproduced the piece that initially inspired her, she did go
on to design her own beaded accessories that those close to her
loved and appreciated. This was to be the start of Seoks Beads
which officially launched in 2017.
Seoks Beads pieces are inspired by the various landscapes
and environments around her, the colour palettes, shapes and
patterns in nature, interior décor and architecture to name a
few. All Seoks Bead pieces are handcrafted with a mix of ethnic,
natural wooden beads with modern glossy or metallic materials
– ensuring the final product is edgy, sharp and relevant to the
modern market.
