Argentina experienced a total eclipse of the sun on July 2,
2019. Seventeen months later, on December 14, 2020, the ARGENTINA BASE
sun will once again hide in Argentina and Chile, this time

DAY 1 Sunday 6 December
ARRIVAL IN BUENOS AIRES
Arrival in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina,
reception at the airport through our partner and

COMPLETE EXPERIENCE DAY 2 Monday 7 December CITY TOUR IN BUENOS AIRES Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we will pick you up from the hotel and start our tour in Buenos Aires. We will take you on a journey through this unique city, full of passion, history, culture and magic. Our first visit is through one of the main avenues, Avenida 9 de Julio, where we will see the Teatro Colón and the Obelisk. Then we will visit the Plaza de Mayo, where we will make our first stop, the historical, political and founding epicenter of the city; we can take pictures of the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Government House and the Cabildo. The city tour continues south through the old San Telmo district, passing through Lezama Park.

DAY 2 Monday 7 December
CITY TOUR IN BUENOS AIRES
We will continue further south to reach the neighborhood of
La Boca, where we have our second stop. Famous for the Boca
Juniors stadium, one of the greatest exponents of Argentine
passion: football and also important for Caminito, one of the
biggest tourist attractions, full of color, magic and history. After
the break, we moved to Puerto Madero, one of the newest,
most exclusive and modern neighborhoods of Buenos Aires,
with its main areas of Retiro and Plaza San Martín. We will
move to Palermo, which is the main green area of Buenos
Aires. The last neighborhood we will visit is the upscale and
sophisticated neighborhood of La Recoleta to finish our tour at
the Hotel. You will have the rest of the day off for private
activities.

DAY 2 Monday 7 December
TANGO SHOW WITH DINNER
In the evening, we will take you to one of the most famous
tango shows in Buenos Aires, not only to enjoy the
magnificent show, but also to try the excellent Argentine
cuisine. The show takes place in a renovated restaurant and
theater in the heart of San Telmo, a historic neighborhood
rich in tango culture. You can taste delicious traditional
Argentine food, taste unique local wines and see the most of
the passionate tango. The tango show will begin at 10 p.m.,
with music not only from a live tango orchestra, but also
from an Argentine gaucho band. On stage, four spectacular
couples dance with incredible precision and great passion.
The show will also give you an idea of gaucho culture
through its music, as well as a surprising demonstration of
your boller skills (next-generation tools used in cattle
grazing). To close an unforgettable evening, the artists of La
Ventana sing a poignant tribute to Eva Perón. After dinner
and show, return to the hotel.

DAY 3 Tuesday 8 December
BUENOS AIRES
Fiesta Gaucha in Santa Susana
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will leave the city heading to
Los Cardales (Buenos Aires) enjoying an incredible landscape
and a pleasant trip where we will visit the pampas of
Argentina. Upon arrival, we will be welcomed with a typical
traditional "meatloaf", Argentinian wine and soft drinks. Later,
you can enjoy a horse carriage ride to explore the ranch land,
followed by a delicious barbecue. Lunch includes a starter of
chorizos-morcillas, a main course with loin, chorizo steak,
chicken salad and side dish. Drinks are also included, and you
can taste red or white Argentine wine. During lunch, you will
have fun with a tango and folklore show where everyone is
invited to dance. We can see an exciting show of "boleadoras"
where gauchos throw traditional weapons. After lunch, we'll
start the real entertainment as the gauchos show off their
incredible skills. They will make a "ring race", a "quadraera
race" that is a typical gaucho competition and will eventually
graze animals. To finish this traditional experience, in the
afternoon the "mate" (yerba mate soaked in hot water), a
typical Argentine drink, as well as cakes will be served. The tour
ends with the return to your hotel.

DAY 4 Wednesday 9 December
BUENOS AIRES - IGUAZU
Excursion Brazilian Falls
Breakfast at the hotel. On-time transfer to the airport for your
domestic flight to Iguazu (AA 09:50 - 11:40). Upon arrival,
reception through our staff and transfer to your hotel. After
check-in, free time at the hotel. In the afternoon, we will visit
the Brazilian side of the Falls. The Brazilian Park offers new
facilities for you to enjoy during the tour. Upon arrival at the
Visitor Center, we will board the panoramic buses to start the
tour. After a while we will get off the bus to start walking the
trails. From the first balcony we will find a panoramic view of
the Argentine Falls. Then, after 950 meters with stunning views
over the Iguazu River, we will reach the waterfalls on the
Brazilian side.DAY 4 Wednesday 9 December
BUENOS AIRES - IGUAZU
Excursion Brazilian Falls
The walkway that enters the river next to the fall of
Floriano gives the visitor a refreshing reception and
a beautiful panoramic view of the Iguazu River and
the Devil's Canyon Gorge. The elevator and stairs
lead to the shopping and dining area above. With
some degree of difficulty, the path includes many
stairs. The Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls is the
place for the best views of the falls. Bring your
camera ready to take many photos!

IGUAZU Full Day Tour
Excursion to the Argentine Falls
with Big Adventure Boat Ride
Breakfast at the hotel. This 8-hour tour will take you on a walk
and discover the upper and lower circuits, to Devil's Gorge,
one of the most beautiful tourist spots in the region ending
the tour with a quick boat ride through the choppy waters of
Rio Iguazu to go down the Falls and observe them from very
close! Known as the largest water system in the world, the
Falls are essential, and this tour will show you its wonders,
always accompanied by a bilingual professional guide. In the
Iguazu Falls you can enjoy the following walks:
UPPER CIRCUIT: The 800 meters of walkways are separated
from the surface of the jungle to protect the fauna by avoiding
the interruption of its natural trails. From this circuit you will

Excursion to the Argentine Falls
LOWER CIRCUIT: 1,600 meters of walkways, also separated
from the surface of the jungle, enjoying a view from below and
around the Iguazu Falls. This circuit provides a unique
experience in which you will feel as part of the natural
environment, observing and perceiving its magnitude up close.
You will see Dos Hermanas, Alvar Núñez, San Martín, Bosetti
and even the Peñón de la Bella Vista, from where you will get
a panoramic view of devil's Gorge and the Lower Iguazu River

DEVIL´S GORGE: From Cataratas Station, the train goes up
to Garganta station in about 18 minutes. Then a walk
along the walkways about 1200 meters above the islands
will take you to enjoy the most spectacular view from the
most important balcony: devil's Gorge, the biggest fall of

Excursion to the Argentine Falls with Big

“GREAT ADVENTURE”. It is divided into 2 parts: navigation
in semi-rigid zodiac boats that extend at the foot of the
San Martín, Bosetti and Tres Mosqueteros falls and the
Devil's Gorge Canyon. In addition, you will sail through the
rapids of the river, reaching Puerto Macuco (3 kilometers
from the falls). The second part is an exciting bus tour of
approximately 8 km through the jungle following the
Yacaratiá trail, where you will get information from our
guides on the flora and fauna of the jungle until you reach

transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to
Bariloche via Buenos Aires (AA 15:40 - 21:50). Upon
arrival in Bariloche, reception through our staff and
transfer to your hotel. San Carlos de Bariloche, also
known as Argentina's Switzerland, is located in the
foothills of the Andes, on the southern coast of Lake
Nahuel Huapi. The city emerged in the 1930s and 1940s
as an important tourist center with skiing, trekking and
mountaineering facilities.

DAY 7 Saturday 12 December
BARILOCHE Excursion Chico Circuit
Breakfast at the hotel. We will start our tour of the Chico
Circuit of Bariloche by picking you up from your hotel and
heading to Playa Bonita. Located just 8 km from the city,
you can see the beautiful island of Huemul from this unique
location. 10 km later, we will reach Cerro Campanario,
where you can climb a chairlift (additional cost) and reach
an altitude of 1050 m. From the top, you will see below the
incredible extension, composed of the Nahuel Huapi and
Perito Moreno lakes, the El Trébol lagoon, the peninsulas of
San Pedro and Llao Llao, Victoria Island and the Otto, López,

DAY 7 Saturday 12 December
BARILOCHE Excursion Chico Circuit
Then we continue to the impressive Hotel Llao Llao and the
beautiful Chapel San Eduardo, a couple of buildings with
stunning architecture. We will also see Puerto Pañuelo, the
port from which the boats depart to Victoria Island and the
Arrayanes Forest. Further on, you'll see golf courses, the
Angostura bridge over the river linking Lake Moreno, Nahuel
Huapi and López Bay at the foot of the hill of the same name.
Leaving the bay behind us, we will move to a Panoramic Point,
a natural panoramic view, from where you can see Lake
Moreno and the llao Llao peninsula. Then we will cross the
narrow bridge of Lake Moreno, passing the lagoon El Trébol
and Avenida Bustillo, from where we will start our journey

BARILOCHE Tour of the 7 Lakes
Breakfast at the hotel. We travel the RN-40 (National
Highway) from San Carlos de Bariloche until it is connected
to the RN-231 and take to the west. Some sections of the
road line Lake Nahuel Huapi, revealing Cerro Catedral in the
background. After passing Puerto Manzano, you cross Villa
La Angostura, a true mountain village, characterized by its

BARILOCHE Tour of the 7 Lakes
A few kilometers later begins the path of the 7 lakes, walking
the lakes Drafty, Mirror, Escondido, Villarino, Falkner, Beautiful
and Machonico. Each attraction has a unique landscape,
surrounded by olive groves and lush forests. Once in San
Martín de los Andes, on the shore of Lake Lacar, passengers
can explore the city and the main street. We return by the
same path, or the road of Junín de los Andes, according to the

- Activities: Eclipse observation day on a private ranch in
Piedra del Aguila, Neuquén province, Patagonia. Arriving at
our special private ranch, our team will be ready to welcome
you and show you the field, the location of the restrooms,
show you the area where you can set up your camera and be
ready to enjoy this natural event. We will welcome you with a
welcome drink to relax and start feeling the Eclipse fever. The
distance from Bariloche or Neuquén to the place in Santo

Along the way, you'll be amazed by the beautiful Swiss-style architecture that characterizes the buildings in the area. Beautiful gardens and flowers color the landscapes to Puerto Pañuelo. Upon arrival, we will sail from Puerto Pañuelo to Puerto Blest aboard The Great Victoria, sailing through Lake Nahuel Huapi. You will observe the grandeur of the landscapes, the green tones of the forests, the birds that fly nearby and learn more about the fascinating history of the destination. Around noon we will arrive at Puerto Blest.
COMPLETE EXPERIENCE DAY 10 Tuesday 15 December BARILOCHE – PUERTO VARAS Then, we travel by bus along the Cold River to Puerto Alegre and then continue the sailing journey through Lake Frias, aboard the South Victoria. Along this stretch of the lake, we will experience beautiful views of Cerro Tronador. After a short navigation, we will arrive in Puerto Frias, where we will complete the necessary steps at the border.
COMPLETE EXPERIENCE DAY 10 Tuesday 15 December BARILOCHE – PUERTO VARAS After the formalities on the Argentine-Chilean border, we will continue by bus to Peulla with beautiful views of the Andes Mountains. Once in Peulla, a paradise for nature lovers, we will have lunch before setting sail for Petrohué, sailing through The All Saints Lake. Weather permitting, you can see different and stunning views of the Osorno and Puntiagudo volcanoes and Cerro Tronador. We will continue towards Puerto Varas, passing by Lake Llanquihue. COMPLETE EXPERIENCE DAY 11 Wednesday 16 December PUERTO MONTT – PUNTA ARENAS – PUERTO NATALES Breakfast at the hotel. Timely transfer to the airport for your flight from Puerto Montt to Punta Arenas (LA 07:56 - 10:06). On arrival, ground transfer to Puerto Natales (approximately 3 hours). Lunch on the way at a local restaurant. Arrival at our hotel and check-in. After a short break, we will begin to explore the grandeur of Torres del Paine National Park and its main attractions Amarga Lagoon and Salto Grande. We conclude the tour back to the hotel in Puerto Natales.
COMPLETE EXPERIENCE DAY 12 Thursday 17 December PUERTO NATALES - NAL PARK. TORRES DEL PAINE – EL CALAFATE Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we will arrive at the impressive Mirador del Toro. We continue our journey in Torres del Paine National Park. There we head to the Grey Zone, from where it is possible to see its beautiful beach. There we will find icebergs separated from the glacier. Lunch on the way at a local restaurant. To finish our trip in Chilean Patagonia, we take a short walk to the North-Joldt Viewpoint. Continue by bus to Cancha Carrera, the border town between Argentina and Chile. After the migration formalities and passport control, we travel by land to El Calafate (Argentina) to our hotel.
COMPLETE EXPERIENCE DAY 13 Friday 18 December EL CALAFATE - PERITO MORENO Today you're going on a trip to the Perito Moreno Glacier. The trip starts at the hotel and takes us to “Los Glaciares National Park”. After a 1.5-hour travel time, you're just 80 km from the Perito Moreno Glacier. Approximately 1 kilometer from the panoramic point of the glacier, begins a path that will take us to the "iceberg channel" to our goal. From there we start a walk that takes us to the panoramic terraces of the National Park. You will have about 3 hours of free time to enjoy the show.
COMPLETE EXPERIENCE DAY 14 Saturday 19 December EL CALAFATE - BUENOS AIRES After breakfast, transfer early to the airport to take your flight to Buenos Aires (AA 13:25 - 16:20) and connect the flight back home.
