Please join us for a conversation on Sunday, January 23rd at
11:45am on Zoom with Fabienne Eliacin, Warden of the Executive
Board of our longtime mission partner St. Stephen's Episcopal
Church. In addition to being a powerful prayer partner in our
Redeemer-St. Stephen's noontime prayer group, Fabienne is a force
in the greater Boston community. In particular she has worked for
more than a decade with Boston Mothers Care, a team of
volunteers who work to bring disaster relief and lasting hope to
communities in Haiti. Come hear her story and how she is working
to make a difference for her neighbors — near and far!

Becoming Beloved Community

In preparation for Fabienne's presentation on Sunday at 11:45am
(see announcement above) on Thursday, January 20th at
7pm we will share an “Overview of Haiti” — its history, relations
with the U.S., and address questions such as:

    What was the Haitian Revolution about?
    Why is the situation in Haiti and the Dominion Republic so
    different?

NO pre-reading or preparation is necessary.

in being involved with SMC and our mission partners. For more

Redeemer Concert Series - Liana Paniyeva, Concert
Pianist on February 4th at 7:30pm

The third concert of our 2021-22 concert series will take place on
Friday, February 4 at 7:30pm. Concert Pianist, Liana Paniyeva has
won prizes in numerous international competitions and has
performed at festivals in Norway Hungary Austria Canada
performed at festivals in Norway, Hungary, Austria, Canada,
England, Italy, Syria, South Africa, and Israel. Recent recitals include
performances in Carnegie Hall, Worcester's Mechanics Hall, the Myra
Hess Concert Series in Chicago. A graduate of the Donetsk Music
Academy in Ukraine, she earned her Professional Studies Diploma
from the Manhattan School of Music and an Artist Diploma from The
Hartt School of the University of Hartford. Ms. Paniyeva is a founder
and artistic director of the Young Stars International Piano
Competition, and runs a private piano studio in North Quincy.

Her program will include music Her program will include music
by Rachmaninoff, Medtner, Schubert/Liszt, Chopin and Schumann's
Sonata No.1.

Advance tickets are $30 Adults, $20 Students and Children. Please
send a check payable to the Church of the Redeemer to the
attention of Nigel Potts.
