with Kevin the Koala. After discovering what Kevin can do, you will be
learning how to draw a cuddly Koala.

What’s a fun event that starts with a G? ... GAME AFTERNOON!

Roll up roll up, it’s game time! This afternoon we will be playing three games:
  What’s that song?
  I like your bag! What’s in it?
  I have this item, do you have it too?

You will need:
  2 items that you can describe without giving away the answer
  a bag that the items can fit in (that is not see through)

Hopefully we will see your happy faces this afternoon

 Baking & Cooking

As we like trying out different recipes from all over the world, we will
“travel” to Portugal and make the famous Pastéis de Nata.

You will need:

  400 ml of (whole) milk  a piece of butter
  2 Tsp of corn starch  powdered sugar
  2 Tsp of lemon zest  a muffin tin (12 cup)
  120 grams sugar  one pot
  1 egg  whisk
  2 egg yolks  knife
  a roll of puff pastry  measuring jug
  ground cinnamon  apron
  a cinnamon stick (optional)

Adult supervision: it would be a good idea to have an adult present while using the stove.

We`ll be doing a small interactive workout session for kids.

Structure:
  setup workout space (matt or no matt + enough
 space to move)
  warm up (running on the spot, jumping jacks,
 etc.)
  activity wheel:
 o kids will choose a number between 1-20,
 that number represents the reps we will
 do
 o next we will turn the wheel and see which exercise we do
 o next kids turn
  if there`s more time: we will have each child think of a sport - they`ll need to
 pantomime the sport and the other kids guess what sport it is

  11 popsicle sticks or 11 sticks (ca 15cm long and as thick as a
 child’s thumb)
  Wood glue, liquid glue, or hot glue
  20 Rubber band

  A Marble / Lego block / material to launch
  A stuffed animal
  Parental Supervision!
 o There are a couple of steps that young students might need help with.
