                • More than cheesies and choc milk, presented by Sue Dimitrijevich,
                   Health Promotion and Education Practitioner.

WASCA
The Western Australian School Canteen Association Inc. (WASCA) is a not for profit,
health promotion charity. We are committed to working with schools, health facilities,
community groups, workplaces and food industry to support healthy choices.

The Food Forum is an excellent opportunity to learn from experts in the field, share your
stories and liaise with food and drinks manufacturers and distributors. The program is based
on requests from members including the skills they wish to increase and topics that will assist
them to operate a healthy and inspiring canteen.

At your round tables delegates will be sitting with other people from similar schools based on
primary or secondary streams and location. Participation is the key to a great morning,
everyone has something valuable to contribute.

The Healthy Choice Food Expo is set to be one of our best yet. To make the most of your expo
experience, plan your journey to ensure you get a taste of everything - sensational lunch, an
inspiring cooking demonstration, meet and greet Star Choice™ approved suppliers and chat to
a range of health and education organisations.

Considered one of Australia’s most loved celebrity cooks, Anna’s
infectious energy, charisma and simple delicious recipes have
made her an audience favourite. Anna has written three cookbooks
and is passionate about inspiring people to cook and enjoy healthy
homemade meals. Anna also collaborates with the Stephanie Alexander
Kitchen Garden Foundation reflecting her commitment to making cooking accessible to
everyone. Supported by Eat Brighter LiveLighter, you will walk away from Anna’s cooking
demonstration with new recipes to try at school and at home, making it easy to eat brighter.

Crown Perth is renowned for hosting the most successful and high profile events in business,
social and charitable circles. It is located within the picturesque Burswood Park on the shores
of Perth’s glistening Swan River. The Food Forum will be held in Grand Ballrooms One and Two
located behind the Crown Towers lobby, best accessed through Crown Theatre doors. We have

Getting there
Crown Perth is easily accessed by public transport with Burswood Train Station nearby and
