Visalia, The Darling is an intimate
boutique hotel housed in what was
previously the abandoned Tulare County
courthouse annex. Opened in 2020, The
Darling boasts all of the charm of the
1920s & 30s while offering premier
accommodations of the 21st century.

destination for your big day
and beyond!
Featuring 32 recently renovated art deco guestrooms, four charming event spaces, and a
one-of-a-kind rooftop restaurant, The Darling is an extremely versatile venue. Get dolled
up in your Executive Suite, say “I do” in the North Courtyard, and celebrate into the
night at your reception on the rooftop.

Perched atop The Darling Hotel, The Rooftop is truly the most unique event
space in the Central Valley. Standing more than 5 stories tall, your next
event will surely have your head in the clouds!

•Catering & Alcohol must be provided by Elderwood Restaurant.
•All Menu Pre-Orders must be submitted by 21 days before event date.
•Client is responsible for the food and beverage minimum regardless
of guest count or food consumed.
•Any groups of more than 10 MUST be a private event and can only be
facilitated through a Rooftop Deck rental. No exceptions are made.
•Rooftop rentals will only take place during Brunch Service (9:00am - 1:30pm)
or Dinner Service (4:30pm - 9:00pm).

The North Courtyard
Operating as our largest event space, The North Courtyard is perfect for
any kind of gathering, with ample shade from two majestic Valley Oaks,
and the best views of the art deco exterior of The Darling.

Sitting on the south side of the property, The Pool Terrace offers a
prime location for a peaceful event oasis in Historic Downtown Visalia.
Our 8 poolside fountains are sure to add the perfect ambiance for any
occasion.
