Set against the Craigellachie Nature Reserve, in the heart of the Cairngorms

And inside is no different. Each of our 3 hotels in the resort are 4-star with all
the home comforts you would expect. For larger families and groups we have
woodland lodges nestled in the resort grounds.

We can also create longer packages for you to spend precious time with your

We just wanted to say a big thank you for all the
hard work that went into making Saturday such
a success. We all had a lovely day and the hotel
and staff couldn’t have done more to make it so
special. The room looked wonderful with all the
candles and low lighting and so many people

These are in conjunction with our standard terms and conditions of trade relating to
conference, banquets, functions and lettings.
Minimum numbers
These may apply to weddings in our Peregrine & Osprey Suites depending on your chosen date,
please ask our Wedding Consultant for more information.
Provisional booking
Once you have chosen your date you may hold this as a provisional booking for 14 days
without obligation.
Deposit
To secure the date a non refundable/non transferable deposit of £1,000.00 or 20%
whichever is less is required along with a letter of confirmation.
Any bookings not confirmed after 14 days will be released.
Prepayment
An estimated pro forma invoice based on your requirements will be presented to you for
payment after the final details have been discussed with our wedding consultant eight
weeks prior to the wedding.
50% of the total balance due 90 days before the wedding
30% of the total balance due 60 days before the wedding
Final balance due 14 days before the wedding.
Credit/debit card details are required to guarantee payment for any additional items or
outstanding balance which must be settled prior to departure from the hotel after the
wedding.
As weddings are booked up well in advance, all deposits are non-refundable/non-transferable
in the event of cancellation.
Final numbers
Final numbers charged for dinner is the figure advised to hotel 14 days prior to the wedding
or your minimum requirements (whichever is the greater)

ACCOMMODATION
Macdonald Aviemore Resort has three different 4-star hotels together with woodland lodges
providing over 400 rooms for guests.
Check in time is from 2pm and check out time is 11am. If an early check in is required from 12 noon, a
£30 charge would apply. Early check in subject to availability.
A family room will be required for children staying in the same room as adults. Cots and extra beds
are available upon requires.
Use of Aviemore Activity Centre including our indoor pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool bath
are complimentary for all guests staying in the resort.
Please advise friends and family to book their accommodation in plenty of time to guarantee
availability and to secure their preferred room type.

Once you have made your decision and confirmed a wedding date with us, the next step is for you to
book the registrar, church or celebrants. We will then send you a contract outlining the basic details
for your wedding and terms and conditions. We require a signed copy of your confirmation form
along with a non-refundable deposit of £1,000. We look forward to planning this special occasion with
you and providing you with the perfect day.
