own rain maker at home.
Supplies you'll need:
Cardboard tube
Pipe cleaners
Scissors
Tape
Rice, beans, or popcorn kernels
Stickers
String
Paper bag or construction paper
Decorating Supplies (crayons, markers, paint, glitter, etc)
Instructions:
1) Twirl each of your pipe cleaners
around an object (your finger, a pencil, a
glue stick, etc) to give them a spiral
shape. Try to find different objects to
make each swirl a different size!
Don't have all of the supplies?

Rain maker constructions continued:
2) Attach the ends of each pipecleaner
by twisting their edges to make one
long band.
3) Grab your cardboard tube and feed
one end of the pipe cleaner “string”
through the tube. Secure both ends of
the pipe cleaners on the outside of the
tube with tape.
4) Find your paper bag or construction
paper, and cut out two big circles. The
circles should be big enough to cover
the bottom of the tube and a bit of the
sides.
5) Cut little slits around the edges of the
paper circles so that they can wrap
around the sides of the tube. Be careful
not to cut too far!
6) Flip the slits up around the side of the
tube and secure them with tape. The
bottom of the tube should now be
completely covered.

Rain maker constructions continued:
7) Pour your “rain” (rice, beans, corn or
whatever you found around the house!)
into the open end of the tube. You can
experiment with different amounts, we
used about a handful of beads!
8) After you’ve found the right amount
of “rain”, repeat Step 6 with the other
paper circle on the open end of the
tube. Both ends should now be
completely secured!
9) Now it's time to decorate your
rainstick! You can draw or paint right on
the tube, or grab a piece of paper and
wrap it around!
10) Tie the string around the ends of the
tube, add stickers and the rest of your
finishing touches!
11) Now you’re all set to make some rain!

Supplies you'll need:
Blank journal or notebook
Piece of white paper
Markers
Pens or Pencils
Decorating supplies (stickers,
glitter, etc)
Instructions:
1. Grab your blank journal.
2. Glue or tape the white paper to the outside of the journal.
3. Decorate the cover of your journal however you would like.
4. You now have your own personalized bullet journal that you
can use however you would like! You could use it to write,
draw, and more!
