                    Though practical learning will be our main focus, it is just as crucial to prepare our
                    learners to be industry-ready. Keeping the average attention span in mind, we have
                    developed short videos that cover the important topics, while ensuring that the
                    lectures don’t get monotonous.

                    Personality Development
  2 hours

                    Communication is key. Considering the high amount of competition that exists today,
                    it is crucial for individuals to improve their communication skills to impress potential
                    employers. Our personality development modules are dedicated to soft skill develop-
                    ment.

                    Networking & Mentorship
                    Online learning is no longer lonely. Students will get to interact with their peers via

                    Practice makes perfect. Post module completion, students will receive soft copies of

           will help them understand and address real-world business problems, thereby

We understand online is new but in this new age we have to change the way we

 CORE COURSES

Organizational Strategy*
This unit presents a systematic approach to the study of strategy building upon an array of ideas
and theories ranging from industrial organization theory and institutional economics. The first half
of the unit outlines the fundamentals of strategic management and will give students an introduc-
tion in this important area of business management. The second half of the unit builds on the tools
and techniques from the first half and is concerned with the strategic choices available to organiza-
tions to achieve competitive advantage in a global economy. The managerial decisions, processes
and activities that allow the creation and implementation of an effective global strategy are
discussed and reflected-upon through a combination of theories and real-world case studies.

Logistics and Supply Chain Practice*
This unit introduces the core concepts of logistics and supply chain management from both a
global and regional perspective. The unit examines in detail the latest practices in logistics and
supply chain management utilizing real business examples, case studies and theory. These include
supply chain analysis, order fulfillment, inventory policy, distribution center operations, transport
planning, sales and operations planning and ethical policies.

Marketing in Practice*
Go beyond the theory and look at marketing in its practical context. We’ll explore the different
principles and models of strategic marketing and examine how they work in a competitive busi-
ness.

Critical Enquiry for Entrepreneurs and Leaders
This unit explores organizations as embedded in socio-political environments. Students will be
challenged to develop their understanding of various concepts such as: critical entrepreneurship,
neo-liberalism, globalization, leadership and the commons, eco-preneurship and social entrepre-
neurship with a view to developing ethically, socially and environmentally responsible graduates.

Finance for Managers
This unit investigates and introduces basic theories, concepts and application of financial account-
ing, management accounting and finance in a modern organization. You are not expected to
become proficient in specific aspects of the different financial tools and techniques discussed in
the unit. Rather, as aspiring middle managers, you are expected to understand how the financial
professional in an organization can integrate with the other management functions to support and
achieve the organizational strategic objectives.

Business Research Project (Dissertation)
In this investigative final capstone research project students are expected to identify, structure,
frame and investigate a complex managerial or business issue and produce a substantial written
document of their achievements and conclusions.

Business Simulation: Creativity to Launch
This unit enhances enterprising behaviors and skills through experiential learning and creates an
awareness of the entrepreneurial career path. You will gain experience of a live project, creating
and validating a business idea, before showcasing your business to industry experts via a trade
stand.

International Business and Emerging Markets
This unit examines theoretical aspects of growth and development in order to address how mar-
kets ‘emerge’. The unit will consider the economic development and business environment of
selected markets. There will be a consideration of the opportunities and challenges of doing busi-
ness in these markets and an analysis of policy options available in order to achieve sustainable
growth.

Introduction to Business Analytics
The unit will equip you with skills and knowledge relating to the handling and analysis of data
typically generated by organizations. You will be introduced to the concept of self-service business
intelligence and what impact this will have on your future career path.

This unit is designed for students, new to project management - or with limited practitioner experi-
ence in this area. This unit aims to equip the manager with knowledge and skills required to deliver
effective project management. This unit will employ a practitioner and academic perspective.

This unit helps you to develop the critical tools and moral imagination required to analyze and
manage current and future social, ethical and environmental challenges facing the world.
