                        The YOU NEED A HUG market exists in every corner of Australia, the world
                        and the USA in particular.
Market – Demographic:   The target market is from late tweens to sixties. A professionally created
                        and user-friendly E-Commerce Website will introduce them to YOU NEED
                        A HUG and supported by a well executed Social Media marketing plan.
                        YOU NEED A HUG also delivers an inspiring quality product to family,
                        friends and colleagues, creating a sense of happiness, joy or aspiration.
E-Commerce Website:     The YOU NEED A HUG website will be a combination of personal warmth
                        and style… driven by the joy of sending or receiving a specially chosen
                        cushion with it’s own personalised card.
                        YOU NEED A HUG is a stand-alone gift site. It isn’t a home/lifestyle concept
                        and the website won’t feature any bedding, living room or homeware
                        products normally associated with cushions.

Future Customers:    The trends for staying at home and seeking more comfort are still on
                     an upward trend mostly due to Covid restrictions now and in the future.
                     YOU NEED A HUG will require 2,000 customers @ $129 to cover a three-
                     Month Intensive Development budget of $100,000 to kick-start the
                     launch of of the product.
                     This will take four months and covers all overheads during that period.
                     A conservative 600 customers per month makes yearly estimates of
                     7,200 customers a very achievable number.
Competition:         Aside from deliveries of flowers, wine, hampers and fruit baskets, there
                     are few competitors to YOU NEED A HUG. Trade Mark Searches have
                     confirmed this.
                     The closest competitor is Davie Group, in Adelaide. Its founder, David
                     Fogarty, manufactured and distributed Calming Blankets and then, late
                     last year created the Oodie, the wearable blanket.
                     Both retail online from $109 to $299 and the turnover for David Group is
                     on track to net $200 million this year.
                     The products are different from YOU NEED A HUG and the timing was
                     perfect due to winter and the digital marketing has been spectacular.
                     The underlying philosophy for YOU NEED A HUG is similar except for the
                     tactile comfort and connection to personally share with anyone at any
                     time of the year… globally or domestically.

Skills to Acquire:         Essentially, I am a Content Creator and, on a limited budget, I have
