Orientation programme
As a new student you will undergo a
comprehensive orientation programme.
You’ll be given The Student Handbook
which includes essential information about
living and studying in New Zealand and at
Taylors Auckland. Orientation is also a great
opportunity to meet tutors, make friends
and find your way around the campus.
On-campus support
We have a dedicated team of multilingual
student welfare staff who are trained in the
areas of student welfare, accommodation,
pastoral care and counselling. Our Welfare
Manager is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week if you need help or assistance in
an emergency.
Mentor groups
You will be assigned a mentor teacher and
group when you start at Taylors Auckland.
You will meet with them once a fortnight to
talk about academic and personal issues
and familiarise yourself with New Zealand
culture. Your mentor teacher is available to
give you academic and personal counselling
throughout your study period.
