Dear Rural Water Friends / Family:
We invite you to join us August 27 - 29, 2018 at the Galt House Hotel
and Suites in Louisville, Kentucky, as we celebrate our 39th Annual
Conference and Exhibition, Water—THE Natural Resource. Plans are
underway for another great Annual Conference but we need YOU to
make it happen!
This edition of the Annual Conference Magazine is filled with details of
conference activities for our attendees and exhibitors. Registration forms
are included in the magazine for your convenience. However, registration
is also available online at www.krwa.org.
Highlights of this year’s conference will include continuing education
credit for operators and water district commissioners, the KRWA golf scramble, an exhibit hall with vendors
displaying the latest industry products and services, cash drawings in the exhibit hall, the Kick-off Breakfast,
Member Appreciation reception, NRWA WaterPac raffle, KRWA’s Best Tasting Water contest, the Awards
Luncheon with recognition of Wooden Bucket nominees and announcement of this year’s winner—and
don’t forget door prize give-a-ways.

The Galt House Hotel & Suites will be the primary location of activities during our 39th Annual
Conference and Exhibition.
The Galt House Hotel has 3,200 on-site parking spaces available in their attached, covered
parking garage for guests. Complimentary self-parking for overnight guests is provided by the Galt
House. Valet parking is offered for $25 per night. Complimentary coach parking is available for
tours and conventions. Drive-in attendees of the KRWA Conference may obtain a sticker at the
KRWA registration desk for complimentary parking.
Height limitations for the garages are 6’4” for The Suite Tower and 6’8” for The RIVUE Tower.
Buses or any other vehicles taller than the limit are to check in with the valet and will be directed
to special lots.
Attendee registration packets will be available in the hotel lobby on
Sunday afternoon. From 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. a special registration
area will be set up near the hotel check-in for pre-registered conference
attendees to pick up their registration packets.
Registration will re-open on Monday morning beginning at 7:30 a.m. at
the registration area on the 2nd floor of the East Tower.

Tuesday, August 28, in order to participate in the contest. Water samples will be stored until
the time of judging during the Member Appreciation Reception and WaterPac Raffle on Tuesday

Appreciation Reception on Tuesday evening, August 28, 2018. Winner will be announced that
evening.
3. Contest winner will be eligible to compete against other states at the National Rural Water
Association’s Rural Water Rally in Washington, D.C. in 2019. KRWA will pay the registration fee
