Send your girl To Camp and She’ll leave with:
  1. New Friends
By sending her to camp, you’re giving her the opportunity to make
friendships that will last forever. Living together and experiencing
the magic of camp together, without modern-day distractions,
creates the ideal setting to form lifelong friendships.
  2. Resilience acacamps.org
When girls learn to overcome challenges and stand on their own

strong, successful women. We teach girls to be persistent when the only ACA accredited
faced with challenges by encouraging them to never give up. Girl Scout camps in Michigan!
  3. Decision-making Skills
Summer camp is the perfect place to teach girls independence,
and a big part of independence is a girl’s ability to make her own
decisions. With our awesome Girls’ Choice format, she’ll feel
empowered when she builds her own schedule by choosing the
       activities that interest her!
  4. Courage
Coming to camp for the first time can be scary, but at camp,
girls learn what they are capable of accomplishing. She’ll have
many opportunities to step out of her comfort zone and try new
things, from new foods at mealtime to climbing the rock wall to
cooking over a fire. Our camp counselors will be right by her side,
encouraging her to reach her goals!
  5. An Appreciation for Nature
At camp, we eliminate the distraction of technology so that girls
can unplug and connect with their peers and with the world
around them. She’ll make awesome memories hiking the trails,
singing at campfire, learning about wildlife, and telling stories
       under the stars.

Your girl won't remember

adventures and make friends
she will never forget!

I had the chance to return to my hometown and relive some of the
emotions I had as a girl. The experience was eye-opening. Upon
returning to my high school and while walking along my school
hallways, I was flooded with the memories of my teenage years.
Feelings of fearful insecurity, academic challenges, and uncertainty
surfaced in a surprising way. It gave me pause.
In the same trip back to Miami, I went from my high school to revisit
my Girl Scout summer camp. The emotions and memories that
surfaced here were of laughter, discovery, learning, wonder, and thrill. Jan and the participants of the 2019

struck by the powerfully positive Girl Scout memories and realized ▼ Photobomb ! 
how meaningfully important my childhood Girl Scout journeys had
been in shaping me.
This important and affirming impact on girls is exactly what our
camps build in girls today: a safe, intriguing space for girls to thrive
and grow. I’m so very proud of our camps and the dedicated staff who
make Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan camps one of the very best places
for girls to find their potential, build unshakeable memories, and
create lifelong friends. Which session (or sessions) will your family
choose to give your girl a memory she’ll cherish and an adventure that
will bolster her happiness and long-term success? Imagine what a
supportive, girl-led camp setting will do to shape your girl.
Give the gift of Girl Scout camp and build a girl's potential greatness
and goodness!

individual Girl Scouts can make during
the regular cookie program.
Starting in the month of May, individual
Girl Scouts can choose to participate with
Cookies to Camp (Camp Credit). This is
not a troop-led program, Girl Scouts will
