     Registration options include in-person (at the Atlas Tube Centre Front Desk), online (www.lakeshore.ca/
      recreation) and by telephone (519-727-0470).
     Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Programs fill up quickly!
     Payment is required at the time of registration. Payment methods include cash, cheque, VISA, MasterCard,
      American Express and debit.
     No registrations or class transfers will be accepted after the 3rd class. No credits or make up classes are available
      for missed classes. Programs will not be overbooked; make sure you are ready to register at the day and time of
      registration to ensure you get into your preferred program.

Atlas Tube Centre—General Information

 Kitchen includes a fridge, stove, freezer, dinnerware/plates for 200 people.

                                             Qualifying Criteria
    Due to limited funding, only Lakeshore residents are eligible to apply for this subsidy program
    Funds are based on the size of the family and maximum family income
    Funds are based on a first come, first serve basis and may be limited
    The Town of Lakeshore reserves the right to reject any claim if funding is no longer available
    Only programs approved by the Town of Lakeshore are eligible for coverage
    Children must be 17 years of age or younger
    Maximum 2 programs per year or the set amount as established by the Town of Lakeshore per child per
     year
                                  To be considered for this program, you must:
    Provide proof of annual income from your Canada Revenue Agency Notice of Assessment, Child Tax Benefit
     Notice or Ontario Child Benefit must be provided prior to registering.
    Apply directly with Recreation Services with the above documents no later than 2 weeks prior to the start
     date of the recreation program
    Once approved for funding, families will be required to pay 10% of the registration fee per program to the
     organization upon registration. A copy of the official receipt stating the 10% paid and the balance outstand-
     ing is then submitted Recreation Services for processing.
    Approval from Recreation Services MUST be provided to any organization prior to registration

Lakeshore’s Summer Adventure Camp (9 weeks of fun)

Theme week activities are child centered and designed around the HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Childhood

making new friends and having fun in a friendly, caring and safe environment. Day camp staff are trained and certified
in HIGH FIVE Quality at Play Standards and Guidelines, First Aid/CPR and additional training focused on healthy child
development. Activities selected per day are adjusted for age appropriateness and are based on themes selected each
week. Interactive games, swimming, skating, craft time, library time, indoor/outdoor structured and unstructured play
are all part of the week’s schedule. Please note: Skating and Swimming are not mandatory.

                                                                      Staffing Structure for Summer Camps 2019:
                                                                The Recreation Coordinator oversees the function of
                                                                the camp/staff. There is one (1) Camp Coordinator for
                                                                the Junior Camp and one (1) Camp Coordinator for the
                                                                Senior Camp. As well, we have an Assistant Camp
                                                                Leader for both the Junior and Senior Camp plus
                                                                numerous Camp Counsellors to meet the daily
                                                                on-the-floor ratios for both Junior and Senior Camps.

                    Participants in this camp will be working on all aspects of their figure skating skills both on the ice
and off the ice. Skaters will be offered a variety of activities that are directly related to the sport of figure skating.
While off the ice, skaters will be introduced to many different skills that are directly linked to improving their skating
skills such as, flexibility, mindfulness, team building and core training. While on the ice, skaters will work on various
skills found in all disciplines of figure skating.

Skaters in this camp will be required to wear a helmet unless they have
passed their Stage 5 badge in the Canskate program. Figure Skates must be
worn. Coaches are NCCP certified Skate Canada Coaches with experience in
both recreational and competitive skating. (Skaters that are not currently
