Caution With Broken Glass and Sharp Objects

Some Things Should Not Be Placed Out in Your Household Garbage
Sharp items, like broken glass, knives, razor blades and needles can be a
serious hazard for both your family and your waste collector. Protect
yourself and others by disposing of your garbage in a safe manner.

Place sharp objects in a cut resistant and puncture proof
container (such as a cardboard box). Label the container
“Sharp object”, and set out on your garbage day beside Whitby By-Laws
