FAQs Frequently Asked Gulet Cruise Questions Who can book a cruise holiday? All are welcome with the exception of passengers more than 6 months pregnant. We advise people with mobility issues to contact us before booking so we are able to assess whether it will be possible to facilitate their requirements. We also require people with children under 12 in their party to get in touch as the cruise may not be suitable for them. Is there a safety drill and safety equipment provided on-board? Passenger safety is our priority. Safety drills are carried out periodically on each gulet throughout the season and you may be required to take part in one of these while onboard. Life jackets are provided for each passenger on board and the captain will provide a safety briefing. What are the check in and check out times? Check in times are detailed on your pre-arrival email. You will be able to check into your cabin from 5-6 pm on your day of arrival and checkout must be by 10 am at the latest on your day of departure. What happens if I arrive before the check in time? It is possible to drop your luggage off at the gulet when you arrive. You may not be able to board or enter your cabin, until after this time to allow us to prepare the boat. What type of luggage should I bring? There is a limited amount of storage onboard, we advise you to bring cases that are soft/foldable rather than hard cases. Is there a dress code? No, there is no dress code on our gulets, other than shoes are not allowed to be worn while onboard. Do the gulets you offer actually sail? All gulets in our fleet are sailing gulets. When weather conditions allow, our crews will always put the sails up as we all want you to experience this. What meals are included on-board? All cruises are half board (breakfast and lunch.) On some itineraries we include complimentary dinners which are detailed in the itinerary. I have special dietary requirements / food allergies? Do you cater for this? Are drinks included? Drinking water is provided free of charge at all times on the gulet. We provide coffee/tea and juices with breakfast and other drinks can be purchased onboard. Can you smoke on the gulet? Yes, you are able to smoke in designated areas outside on the Gulet. Smoking is prohibited inside the gulet. Does each cabin have a private bathroom? Yes, each cabin has a private en-suite with shower. Is there WIFI onboard? Yes, there is free WIFI onboard and enough for you to check emails and messages, however not for streaming films or videos. Is Air conditioning available on board? Yes, air conditioning is available for 4-8 hours per day depending on the cruise. Are there bath towels and linen provided on the gulets? Yes, these are all provided and are changed midweek. I have sailing experience; can I operate the boat? No, the Captain is the only individual legally authorised and licenced to operate the boat.
