2022 Call for Nominations

 FLC 2022 National open positions are:

   •       Finance Officer*

            o   The Finance Officer is the primary point of contact for overseeing the financial matters of
                the Consortium. The Finance Officer serves as the primary point of contact with the Host
                Agency for financial matters, including coordination with the Host Agency regarding
                Consortium revenue, assets, and disbursement of funds.
*If the current FLC Bylaws changes are adopted, then this position will be eliminated and will not be
filled. However, per the current bylaws, we must hold the election.

       •    Member-At-Large (1 MAL)
                o   The Member-At-Large represents the Consortium membership to the Executive
                    Board. (1 Member-At-Large will be elected).

FLC 2022 Regional open positions are: There are six(6) regional positions
that are open for nominations.

    •   Regional Coordinator (Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Far West)

            o   Regional Coordinators serve as members of the Executive Board and Executive
                Committee, maintain liaison between the Executive Board and the Consortium
                Members in their respective regions, and keep the Executive Board advised on
                regional matters and issues. They also serve as a point of contact and referral agent
                for Consortium Members within the region and for the public and private sectors.

    •   Deputy Regional Coordinator (Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Far West)

            o   Deputy Regional Coordinators assist the Regional Coordinators in their
                responsibilities and represent their region in the absence or unavailability of the
                Regional Coordinator.

The term of office is October 1, 2022 - September 30, 2024.

Any Consortium Representative or Consortium Participant may submit nominations to the
Nominating Committee. Self-nominations are encouraged.

Eligibility for election as a Nationally Elected Officer shall be limited to Laboratory Representatives,
Agency Representatives, and Consortium Participants. All nominations must show written approval by
the nominee’s supervisor.

Nominations Consent Form

   1. Signature of support from laboratory supervisor.
         1. Please copy and send the link of this form to your supervisor. (This is
             submitted separately from the rest of items below.) (If the link for the
             supervisor form does not work, please find the form at the end of this
            document.)
   2. A 250-word statement for inclusion with the ballot describing achievement goals
      for the office you seek and what you hope FLC would achieve through your
      service.
   3. A one-page biographical statement that includes the following information:
          1. Your current job title and a brief description of your current responsibilities
          2. Your professional educational background
          3. Past FLC positions, committees, or projects in which you were involved
   4. A photo (300 DPI is preferred; to be published with the statements).
