brachytherapy workshop’ was conducted at ALC
by the Department of Radiation oncology under the
aegis of Indian Brachytherapy society on 31st
January and 1st February 2020. Dr R L Bhalavat
from Mumbai was the resource person and twenty
one participants had an opportunity to practice the
procedure in various sites of head and neck region.
The programme was well received and we hope it

Nephrology, Ramaiah Medical College recently
organized ISNSCCON 2020 - 40th Annual Conference
of Indian Society of Nephrology Southern Chapter @
Bengaluru. A green initiative was implemented during
the conference held from 14th to 16th Bangalore at
Ramaiah Medical College Auditorium. We made sure
that no flex banner were used anywhere and all banners
were made of the cloth. A no plastic conference and even
the badges are made of degradable material. Some
badges have engraved names and become mementos.
