Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute, Subroto
Park, New Delhi established in 1986 by IAF
Education and Cultural Society is a pioneer
institute in the field of Inclusive Education.
The School is co-hosting these events with
Indus Quality Foundation (IQF). It is a non-
profit organization which was started in the
year 1995 with a vision to spread the message
and know-how of Quality in life. IQF has been
associated with our school since 1997 and has
been supporting our Institute in organizing
interschool events since 2011.

The events are based on the ideology of
Swami Vivekananda who is regarded as the
patriot saint of modern India and an inspirer
of national consciousness. Nationalism was a
prominent theme in his thoughts and writings.
He believed that a country’s future depended
on its people and his teachings were focused
on human development. He wanted to bring
the noblest ideas to the doorstep of the poorest
and the meanest. IQF is also based on the
philosophy of Swami Vivekananda and has
been engaged in taking spiritual education
to the youth and children through sustained
interventions on Value-oriented Personality
Development and Quality Management. These
events aim at spreading spiritual education
and helping in the holistic development of the
young learners.

GENERAL RULES
1. The school is hosting two events at the National level: IQF
   Mono Act and IQF Quiz.
2. Only one student can participate from one school in each
   category, in the Mono Act. In the Quiz, anyone above the
   age of 11 years can participate.
3. The schools are requested to register through the Entry
   Forms enclosed for the Mono Act. Kindly register by an
   E-mail to: iqfevents.afgji@gmail.com latest by 02.07.2021
   (5 pm).
4. Registration for Quiz will open on 22nd July at 8 am.
5. The host school will not be competing for any prize ad-
   hering to the motto of ‘Service to others unto self’ in the
   Mono Act.

                      IQF MONO ACT
1. In this event, only one participant is allowed per school in
   each category.
2. Category I-Eligibility from Classes VIII and IX
   Category II-Eligibility from Classes X, XI and XII
3. The participants should make a short video in English only.
4. The Mono Act should be based on any one of the themes
   given by Swami Vivekananda. The participants have to
   use any one of the themes given below and make their
   own script by elaborating the theme. They can also add
   their own views.
5. The themes are :
   (a) This life is short, the vanities of the world are transient,
   but they alone live who live for others, the rest are more
   dead than alive.

   (b) Be grateful to the man you help, think of him as God.
   Is it not a great privilege to be allowed to worship God by
   helping our fellow men?

   world

(c) He works, who is not propelled by his own
   desires, by any selfishness whatsoever. He
   works, who has no ulterior motive in view. He
   works, who has nothing to gain from work.

6. The First round will be held live on Microsoft
   Teams on 21st July 2021 at 11 am. The Final
   round (main event) will be held on 22nd July 2021
   at 10 am in the same mode. The details of both
   the rounds and link to join will be communicated
   on the registered email id/WhatsApp number
   of the participants/teacher. The participants are
   requested to download Microsoft Teams in order
   to attend the event.
7. Each school can send only one entry per category.
8. The last date for sending the entry (Video) by
   mail is 5th July 2021 by 5 pm. Please email the
   entry to iqfevents.afgji@gmail.com
9. The participants must record the act and send
   it in .mp4/.mov/.wmv etc. format. The video
   file must be saved using the format ‘firstname_
   lastname_class’.
10. Time duration for the Mono Act video is
   maximum 2 minutes. It is inclusive of your
   introduction. Your introduction must contain
   your Name and Class. DO NOT mention the
   name of your school in your video.
11. The participants should wear the costume
   supporting the theme of their script.
12. The script can also contain a dialogue between
   two characters, however, both the characters
   have to be enacted by the participant only, in one
   take.
13. The act should be recorded in one take and no
   editing is allowed.
14. The language used should be English and the
   performance should be in the original voice of
   the participants.

15. Obscenity and use of offensive language is
    strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate
    disqualification.
16. No professional assistance is allowed.
17. The video should not have any copyright or IP
    violations. The content should be creative and
    should not be plagiarized.
18. Participants will be judged on the basis of :
    - Relevant and creative content/ Adherence to the
       given theme
     - Adherence to time
     - Acting/ Expression and voice modulation
     - Diction (Fluency/ Articulation)
     – Costume
19. Three exceptional videos will be awarded prizes
    in each category and e-certificates will be given
    to all the participants.
20. The top 10 videos in each category will be shown
    on the day of the Final round (main event).
21. The Judges’ decision will be final.

IQF QUIZ
   Swami Vivekananda: His Life and
             Teachings

Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute (AFGJI),
New Delhi in collaboration with The Indus
Quality Foundation (IQF), feels immense
pleasure in inviting you for its Second National
Level Online Quiz on the theme: “Swami
Vivekananda – His Life and Teachings” put
up by “Jigyasa: The Quiz Club “ of AFGJI

The quiz will test your knowledge of the life,
teachings and vision of Swami Vivekananda,
one of the most inspiring personas the world
has ever seen. An Indian monk, a humanitarian
and a patriot, he laboured throughout his life
to spread Hinduism, opened organizations for
the benefit of the common people and served
humanity. His mesmerizing personality with
the highest virtues illuminated the young
minds and his teachings, still prevalent today,
arouse the realization of power of the mind.

It is a Pan India Quiz competition and is
open to everyone above the age of 11 years.
The Quiz can only be attempted once and no
changes can be made after the submission of
the form. E-Certificates of participation will
be given to all and E-Certificates of excellence
will be given to those who achieve 70% or
more. These E-Certificates shall be shared via
email of the participants.

The Instructions for the quiz are given below:

1. The Quiz will be open from 22nd July 2021 at 8
   AM and responses can be submitted by 8 PM on
   23rd July 2021. Adherence to date and time is
   mandatory.
2. The Quiz is completely MCQ based with only
   one correct option.
3. There are 25 questions on Swami Vivekananda,
   his life, teachings and principles, making the
   maximum achievable score to be 250 points.
4. The Quiz is to be attempted within 20 minutes.
5. Cheating by any means is not permissible and it
   may lead to cancellation of the attempt, if found
   guilty.
6. Please ensure that you have stable internet
   connection as any obstruction in the middle of
   attempting will not allow you to complete it or fill
   it up again.
