Established in 1881, Central Tramway is Scarborough's Victorian
cliff railway linking the town's primary hotel district with the

The National Centre for Birds of Prey is the
largest collection of these wonderful birds
in the North of England. A vast collection
of owls, eagles, vultures, hawks, falcons and
more are housed in spacious aviaries set within
ancient oak woodland and rolling parkland.
Our trained team of flying birds fly free for our
visitors 3 times a day. Children and adults alike
will enjoy watching the birds do what they do
best. Different birds are flown on each demo.

changing programme of exhibitions, by artists who draw
their inspiration from the landscape, life and colour of
the North York Moors.

One of the UK’s top wildlife spectacles–
around half a million seabirds on towering
cliffs. Puffins visit April to early August
and thousands of the UK’s largest seabird,
the gannet, make their home here from
March to end of October. Cliff top viewing

panoramic views along the heritage coast.
