                                              Scarborough, Britain’s first seaside resort has been
                                              selected to host the 2020 National Armed Forces Day
                                              on 27 June.
                                              We are proud to be hosting this event with the Royal
                                              Navy, and is usually attended by a senior Royal and the
                                              Prime Minister. Land, sea and air assets will be featured.
                                              Highlights include the legendary Red Arrows and the
                                              world famous Royal Marines Marching Band.

                                         One of the UK’s top wildlife spectacles – around
                                         half a million seabirds on towering cliffs. Puffins
                                         visit April to early August and thousands of the
                                         UK’s largest seabird, the gannet, make their home
                                         here from March to late October. Cliff top viewing
                                         platforms (most with wheelchair access) give
                                         close-up views of the birds and panoramic views of
                                         the dramatic coast.
