Fundraiser Scope 2020 was a challenging year for Shenandoah Area fundraising. In the spring, our Peanut program was wiped out due to COVID and the fact that our customers were not traveling, shopping or able to dine out. Then popcorn came and we were generally not allowed to do a traditional popcorn sale with Show & Sells. We had to rely on door-to-door and online ordering. While we have hope that things will begin to return to normal, Peanuts would probably have had the same result as last year, so we will not be doing them in 2021. Our Units still need to fundraise. Now more than ever, we need Scouts doing activities and out having fun. Fundraising helps us get there without taxing parents.Introducing the 2021 Spring Fundraiser - “BE PREPARED” We are offering a different product for our survival fundraiser... The best “no battery needed” flashlights & lights on the market Price range on these products ranges from $35 to $300 and everything in- between. Your customers will be able to find something in their price range. What are your commissions? 30% oneverything. Plus, there will be an additional incentive for selling the lights (Additional information later in this guide).
