To our Muslim families: State Assessment and FAST Testing Update
Our end-of-year testing has begun and it’s going very well. We’ve had
minimal absences requiring make-up tests and students have come to
school well-rested and with good attitudes. Thank you for your support,
                             families!

Some students test on iPads so please make sure your student’s iPad is
charged and ready to go each day. If you have any questions about
testing, please contact your student’s classroom teacher.

(trustworthiness, responsibility, respect, fairness, caring and citizenship). Mrs. Neitzel has
Awards presented these students with a yard sign that notes their achievements and she
acknowledged their accomplishments in our monthly, virtual Bobcat Bash.

  NOTES FROM NURSE MCCRACKEN:
To the parents of 6th grade students regarding immunizations:
Those students entering 7th grade this fall need to have one dose of
Tdap, and one dose Meningococcal-Serogroup (MenACWY) per KDHE
before the start of school this fall. Students should have also received
two doses of Hepatitis A. Please watch for a letter that will be sent home
offering more details, and let the nurse know if you have any

Bobcat families: we hope you are enjoying your STEAM-PE Activities. If your family ordered
project materials last week, they were sent home with students on Monday. If anyone still needs
materials, please contact Mrs. Neitzel at bethn@usd383.org.

Students have the next two weeks to complete as many of the activities as they want to enter in to
the drawings for STEAM-PE activities and the grand prize of the Locked-Manhattan escape room
experience for four, sponsored by the PTO. Many thanks to our PTO, Mrs. Kayla Stigge and the
Boys & Girls Club for their prize donations!

To be entered into the drawing, students must submit to their classroom teacher a photo/video of
their activit(ies) either via Dojo or Canvas. With each shared photo/video, students will get to fill
out a raffle ticket with their name and teacher’s name.

All students should also share their Marathon Challenge charts on Fridays if they would like their
time counted toward their class goal. It’s Bluemont staff versus students, so get your kids out
  there and walk/run!!!
