Note: All exhibits must be removed from the show floor by 9:30 pm on Friday, June 14, 2019. If any display is not
taken down by 9:30 pm on Friday, June 14, 2019, Show Management reserves the right to dismantle the display and
charge the exhibitor accordingly.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Exhibit Hall Activity
Calgary Pharmacy and Wellness Exhibit Day includes Pharmacists from the Prairies and British Columbia regions –
approximately 700 attendees. In order to maximize opportunities for interaction, the Pharmacists will be scheduled
to attend the exhibits in “shifts”. Lunch is scheduled between 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm in Hall E immediately adjacent
to the Exhibit Hall. Exhibitors are welcome to attend lunch.
Friday Evening Event
After an exhilarating day at the Exhibits, Shoppers Drug Mart will host a social evening for our Pharmacists and
Corporate Executives. Representatives from each supplier company registered is invited to attend. See the on-line
website invitation and reply form for further information. Please ensure your representatives are registered for the
two complimentary tickets.
Draw Prizes
We encourage you to have draws at your booth. In order to participate, please supply your own ballot box and
ballots. The winning ballot should be drawn at 3:45 pm. Please bring the winning ballot and prize to the Exhibitor
Registration Desk at the conclusion of the Exhibit Program. The top 10 prizes (from a value perspective) will be
announced live at the Saturday Evening Event with special recognition given to your company for the prize donation.
Best Booth Award
A favourite event takes place annually when the Shoppers Drug Mart Conference Best Booth Awards are announced.
At each location, there will be one winner announced for the booth with the best tie-in to the conference theme
“Pharmacy and Wellness”. Our theme celebrates the passion and commitment that permeates everything we do and
drives optimal health and wellness, as well as the best customer experience in the industry. Award winners will be
announced at the Friday Evening Gala Event.
PARKING
Calgary Parking Authority operates a heated underground parking facility beneath the Calgary TELUS Convention
Centre.

YOUR BOOTH SPACE
Your specific display area will be defined with pipe and black drape – 8ft. high back & 3ft. high side:
Single booth size 10 ft. wide x 10 ft. deep
Double booth size 20 ft. wide x 10 ft. deep
Triple booth size 30 ft. wide x 10 ft. deep
Quad booth size 40 ft. wide x 10 ft. deep
Items included with your booth space:
• Two side chairs
• One waste basket
• Electrical outlet – 1 standard duplex outlet, approx. 12 amps – provides sufficient power to support the
typical exhibit set-up for: Display Lighting, Laptop, TV & DVD combo
• Two complimentary tickets to attend the Friday Evening Event
Note: The Calgary TELUS Convention Centre will have red aisle carpet only. You are required to provide your own
carpet within your booth area, orders can be placed SUPERIOR SHOW SERVICES.

Booth numbers
You will be notified well in advance of the event of the exact booth number for your exhibit. When shipping exhibit
materials, proper identification of your materials, with your company name and booth number, will ensure it is
delivered to the right location on the show floor.
Food and Beverage at your Booth
Should you wish to offer an incentive of food and/or beverage service from your booth (e.g. snacks, coffee,
cappuccino, ice cream, canapés, etc.), these items must be ordered from the Marriott Calgary Downtown Hotel (the
exclusive supplier of Food & Beverage to the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre). Outside caterers are not permitted.

NOTE: Food vendors, who wish to provide samples of branded products from their booth, will be required to provide
details to Jan Raeburn - jraeburn@andlogistix.com - in order to receive advanced approval from the Calgary Telus
Convention Centre.

BOOTH STAFF
To ensure all supplier representatives are properly registered, please complete the on-line Booth Staff Registration
Form in full by May 31, 2019. This will expedite check-in on the day of the event. We are recommending that you
have 3 representatives per single booth.
Exhibitor Identification
• All exhibitor personnel must register prior to booth set-up and wear an identification badge to gain
admittance to the Exhibit Hall area.
• All exhibitors can collect their exhibitor identification badge from the Exhibitor Registration Desk located in
the lobby outside the Exhibit Hall.
Set-up Personnel
• Set-up personnel will be allowed access to the Exhibit Hall during the stated set-up hours. ‘Set-Up Only’
badges will be available at the Exhibitor Registration Desk
• Exhibitors requiring access earlier or later than these times must make arrangements in advance with the
Exhibits Coordinator, Jan Raeburn jraeburn@andlogistix.com or 416.425.7287 at aNd Logistix
Dress Code
Attire for the Exhibit Program is Business Casual. No jeans please!
SHIPPING AND DELIVERIES
To the Advanced Warehouse
SUPERIOR SHOW SERVICES will accept crated, boxed and skidded material at their warehouse right up until Thursday,
June 13, 2019. DISCOUNT PRICING UNTIL May 31, 2019 – SHIPMENTS RECEIVED AFTER THIS DATE WILL BE
PROCESSED AT REGULAR PRICING. See Contacts, Suppliers and Deadline Dates to access the Superior Show Services
Exhibitor Kit and information regarding material handling and shipping label instructions. All shipments arriving at
the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre must arrive and depart through the loading dock. Material Handling charges
will apply. Please refer to the Superior Show Services Exhibitor Kit for pricing.

Outbound shipping
Please make the appropriate arrangements with your carrier for shipping following the close of the show. You are
responsible for clearly marking and labelling each piece of freight to be shipped. Overnight storage space is not
available at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre.
• All booths must be removed from the Exhibit Hall by 9:30 pm.
• Any items left on the show floor after 9:30 pm will be “forced” and the vendor will be billed accordingly
• If you have arranged for a pick-up with an independent courier, please ensure that someone remains with
the shipment until the courier has arrived.
• To ensure all exhibitor materials are removed from the show floor by the Exhibitor Move-Out deadline,
please have all carriers check-in by 8:00 pm on Friday, June 14, 2019.
SUPERIOR SHOW SERVICES, aNd Logistix and the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre will not be responsible for the
security of unlabelled items left following the show.
ON SITE SERVICES
Exhibitor Service Desks
SUPERIOR SHOW SERVICSE and the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre will staff Exhibitor Service Desks during Move-
In & Set-Up on Thursday, June 13, 2019 and Friday, June 14, 2019. On-site orders will be processed at that time as
long as items are available. Please see Contacts, Suppliers and Deadline Dates and save money by ordering before the
listed discount deadline dates.
INSURANCE
Exhibitors should arrange their own commercial general liability insurance, including personal and bodily injury
liability, in the amount of $3 million. If you already have insurance coverage for these items, ask your insurer to issue
a Certificate of Insurance naming the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre and aNd Logistix as co-insured.
VERY IMPORTANT: Please ensure that the Certificate of Insurance indicates the exhibitor’s name and that the policy
is extended to cover you during your participation at the Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacy Exhibit Day in Calgary. Your
booth personnel needs to have a copy on-site.
