Residential Packages, Parties & Events
How to Book
Ÿ Please telephone the hotel to check availability for your chosen dates and to make a
provisional reservation.
Ÿ When confirming a booking (a) your deposit of £100 per person for Residential
Packages, or (b) a non-refundable deposit of £10.00 per person for Parties or
Events is required.
Ÿ For all Packages, Parties & Events, full payment of the balance is required at
least 14 days prior to the event. or by 1st December 2018, whichever is the
earliest
Ÿ Wine pre-orders are required at least 7 days prior to the event for all parties.
Terms and Conditions of Booking
1. All verbal bookings will be treated as provisional and will be held for no
longer than 14 days pending receipt of written confirmation and the
appropriate deposit.
2. Christmas & New Year Residential Packages: If you cancel before 1st
December 2018, any pre-payment will be fully refundable. If you cancel on or
after 1st December and we are unable to resell the accommodation, the
following cancellation fees will apply: for cancellation before 12th December,
50% of the package cost will be retained, & for cancellation on or after 12th
December, the total cost of the package will be retained.
3. Parties & Events: Bookings not paid in full by 14 days prior to the event or by
1st December 2018, whichever is the earliest, will be deemed to have been
cancelled and any monies paid will be retained by the hotel.
No refunds of monies paid will be made for cancellation or decreases in the
number of guests attending
attending,, unless the hotel is able to resell the space.
Monies paid for non-arrivals are forfeited and cannot be transferred to
cover food, drinks or overnight accommodation for other members of the
party. Local licensing authority regulations apply.
4. The information in this brochure is correct at the time of printing. The hotel
reserves the right to amend its packages and prices at any time before booking.
Bookings are subject to availability and prices quoted at the time of booking.
5. Except in respect of changes to the rate of VAT, prices will not change once a
booking has been made. The hotel reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel
the contents of an event or package for any reason, for example if there is a
shortfall in the minimum numbers required to operate a programme. In such
circumstances you may choose at your sole discretion an alternative date
and/or venue, subject to availability, or obtain a full refund from us.
6. Some of our dishes may contain ingredients which could cause an allergic
reaction. Guests are advised to check beforehand so that alternative
ingredients or dishes can be provided.
7. These terms are deemed to incorporate the hotel's general terms of business.
8. It is the organisers responsibility to ensure that all members of their party are
aware of the Hotels Terms & Conditions.

You’ll be working hard enough over the festive period so why not treat
yourself and your family to a relaxing Carvery Sunday lunch.
Unwind with a drink or two at the bar before tucking in to a traditional
lunch temptingly created for you featuring prime roasts and homemade
desserts. Afterwards, relax in the lounge over coffee and chocolates.

For them Christmas anywhere else would be unthinkable

Christmas is that bit merrier with us.
Sunday 23rd December
A feast of fine food, wine and festive flair await you when you join
us for Christmas at the Ivy Bush Royal Hotel. Settle in with a
welcoming Cream Tea, then fizzy Cocktails and Canapés with
your fellow guests to get you into the festive spirit followed by a
three-course dinner then some traditional harp music.
Christmas Eve
Pick up your Festive Quiz questions for a chance to win a bottle
of bubbly. After lunch it’s ‘eyes down for a full house’ with an
afternoon of Bingo, and it’s free. This evening has a candlelit
dinner followed by Mrs Ann Richards playing both traditional
and new carols on the baby grand piano in the lounge. Midnight
Mass at St Peter’s Church is just a short walk away and well worth
a visit. And suddenly it’s ………
Christmas Day
This morning, Father Christmas will be visiting with gifts for
everyone, so join him for Coffee and unwrap your presents
around the Christmas tree. Lunch is always special including
Traditional Roast Turkey with all the seasonal Trimmings, old
fashioned Plum pudding with Brandy sauce, Mince Pies, Coffee
& Chocolates.
Don’t forget the Queen’s Christmas message!
Tonight our chefs surpass themselves in creating an informal
buffet featuring Roasted Meats and Game, Fish and Shellfish
with salads simple and exotic and all as much as you like.
Afterwards, there will be a film showing – an old favourite or one
of the latest releases.
Boxing Day
Many guests like to relax and take things easy, chatting to friends
or spending the morning exploring local places of interest.
Whichever you choose, you can still indulge yourself at lunch.
In the evening a 3 course dinner and coffee will be served
followed by singing from a local entertainer.
Thursday 27th December
Getting up takes a little longer this morning, and why not, the
last few days are beginning to tell, so there's no need to hurry –
unless you're off to the sales, of course. Hey, why not make a week
of it and stay another night or two.
Enjoy a traditional Christmas with us from Sunday
23rd until after breakfast on Thursday 27th December

4 nights.
