oth Colerne Rugby Club and FC Colerne Colts football club marked the end of the season
by honouring players and staff.
David Stirling from the rugby club said: “Riley Parsons, having his debut season with
Colerne RFC, became the youngest ever winner of the Player of the Season award which was all
the more special as it was his first year of adult rugby.
“He has set the bar high for himself for next season.”
Meanwhile FC Colerne Colts manager Paul Carey said: “Well done to all the Colts.
“We now close for the season until September 3rd but we are pleased to be playing in local
tournaments over the summer and to be launching our ‘FC Colerne Kickers’ this summer (for girls
and boys of ages seven and below).
