Crystal Mountain Weddings
Say “I Do” at Crystal Mountain Resort, with breathtaking views of Mt. Rainier and the
Cascade Range as your backdrop. We welcome weddings from June to September. On-site
accommodations, in-house catering and fun outdoor activities provide the perfect recipe for
your dream wedding. We are located on the Northeast corner of Mt. Rainier National Park,
just 75 miles from Seattle and 60 miles from Tacoma.

Mt. Rainier Wedding Platform
The Mt. Rainier Wedding
Platform is located at the summit
of Crystal Mountain and is
accessed by a scenic ride on the
Mt. Rainier Gondola.
This venue sits at 6,872’ and
offers unmatched 360 degree
views of the Cascade Range
including Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker,
Mt. Adams and Mt. St. Helens.
This venue can accommodate up
to 200 seated guests for a
wedding ceremony. Chairs and
gondola tickets are included with
this venue for up to 150 guests.
This unique venue is available for
up to 90 minutes with the
opportunity for a summit
champagne or specialty cocktail
toast following your ceremony.
Your celebration will begin as
guests download on the gondola
to your selected base area
reception venue.
Chinook Level
The Chinook Level is located
inside our Base Lodge and is our
largest reception venue. It can
accommodate up to 280 guests
for a sit down dinner. This space
is decorated in a classic mountain
lodge theme with an antique ski
collection, wooden snowshoes
and classic old-time winter
photos with heavy timber beams
and columns throughout.
The tall floor to ceiling windows
let in plenty of natural light and
offer scenic views of the
surrounding peaks and meadows.
Round 8-person tables, standard
banquet chairs, white fitted linen,
silverware, glassware and
dishware are included.
This venue is offered for up to 8
hours, ending at midnight.
Wooden chairs (shown in pictures) are available for an additional charge.
The Bullwheel
The Bullwheel is located at the top
of the Base Lodge and is our most
popular reception venue. It can
accommodate up to 175 guests for
a sit down dinner. This space
features high vaulted ceilings with
exposed heavy timber beams,
skylights and fun ski resort
memorabilia including a gondola
cabin from Big Sky, MT and an
original two-person chairlift from
Crystal Mountain.
The floor to ceiling windows
offers a beautiful backdrop for a
head table and plenty of natural
light. Expansive views of the
resort, surrounding peaks and Mt.
Rainier Gondola are seen from the
many windows.
Round 8-person tables, wooden
chairs, white fitted linen,
silverware, glassware and dishware
are included.
This venue is offered for up to 8
hours, ending at midnight.
The Sundeck
The Sundeck is our beautiful
outdoor venue at the base of our
resort. This open-aired, glass-
enclosed area is available for a
ceremony seating up to 220
guests or a reception
accommodating up to 180 guests.
The views are expansive and
include a large meadow of
mountain grasses and seasonal
wildflowers, endless evergreen
forests, and tall mountain peaks.
Round 8-person tables, banquet
chairs, standard white fitted linen,
silverware, glassware and
dishware are included.
An event tent may be rented for
an additional charge.
This venue is available for up to
90 minutes for a ceremony and 8
hours for a reception, ending at
midnight.
2015 Additional Information Payment Policies: A non-refundable 50% venue payment is required to reserve a date upon booking. The remainder of your venue fees will be due 60 days prior to your event along with a non-refundable 50% payment of the catering minimum. Your guaranteed guest count is due two weeks prior to your event along with the guaranteed catering charges. If payment is not received your event may be subject to cancellation. Any remaining balance is due at the conclusion of the event. Late payments will be assessed a $25 charge per day. Reception & Ceremony Site Rates: Venue rates include exclusive use of the contracted venue and Banquet Manager to help assist in venue and catering planning needs within the resort. The venue fees for a reception includes basic set- up & break-down, round tables, fitted white table linen & napkins, indoor chairs (each venue has unique chairs), standard glassware, dinnerware and silverware. Venue fee for ceremonies includes basic set-up & break-down of chairs. Menus & Catering Crystal Mountain welcomes the opportunity to create special menus that are chosen from our printed suggestions. We require a finalized menu a minimum of 3 weeks prior to your special event. The wedding cake or dessert will be the only food that is allowed in from an outside caterer. There will be a cake-cutting fee per person attending the wedding if we cut the cake, otherwise only a cake table will be available to service your cake. Additional fees for full-service & bar setup will apply. A food minimum is required depending on the day of the week your wedding falls on. All prices are subject to a 20% service charge & 7.9% WA State Sales Tax. Lodging: Crystal Mountain Resort does not own or operate any of the lodging facilities at the resort.
