 Continue implementing the transition from the National Incident Based Reporting System
  (NIBRS) to the California Incident Based Reporting System (CIBRS)

CYBER SECURITY AND DATA STORAGE

  – ARJIS currently maintains 20M+ records from each local police department (11), Sheriff,
    Probation, District Attorney, & San Diego State University
  – Amount of data is increasing each year as new agencies request to contribute data
    – 3 new agencies were approved to contribute data in 2020; ARJIS has received 5 other agency requests; to
      accommodate this additional data ARJIS must increase and update our storage

  – Cyber Security: $450,000
    – Technical Working Group will assign a task force of cyber experts to assess ARJIS cyber‐security
    – Funding will allow ARJIS to procure new cyber‐security tools
