ENTRY FORMS
This tournament is approved by FFBaD (French Badminton Federation) and will be
played in the following age groups :
U15 born in 2007-2008
U13 born in 2009-2010
U11 born in 2011 or later
February 19 Coach meeting at 12:00 in “Complexe Sportif Nelson Mandela” at
Schiltigheim (France), followed at 01:00 pm by the entirety Mixed
Doubles. End of the matches around 09:00 pm (prize ceremony included).
February 20 From 09:00 am, 1st rounds of boys an girls Singles, followed by Doubles
until the quarter-finals included. End ot the matches around 09:00 pm.
February 21 From 09:00 am, semi-finals Girls and Boys, Doubles followed by Singles.
End of the matches around 03:00 pm (prize ceremony included).

TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS
I – GENERAL REGULATIONS
This tournament will be played in full accordance with the Laws of Badminton,
the Tournament Regulations as defined by FFBaD (Badminton French Federation,
see http://www.ffbad.org/mediatheque/publications/guide-du-badminton/sai-
son-2020-2021/ ).The U11 series will be played on the same regulated fields as the
U13 and U15 with nets at 1.55m.
II – SPECIFIC REGULATIONS INDIVIDUAL TOURNAMENT
A/ Participants
1- Entitled to take part are players who are members of a Badminton Federation
associated with the BWF.
2- The tournament will be played in the age categories U11 / U13 /U15. Participants
must not exceed the appropriate age limits presented on the previous page.
3- For French players, the single minimum ranking is D7 in U13 boy, D8 in U13 girl,
and R6 in U15, on the date the CPPH (permanent classification by point) is taken into
account. In double, the limits are those of the French regulations.
B/ System of play and disciplines
1- In each age category, the following events will be played: men’s singles, women’s
singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles.
2- A player can only register in one age category.
3- Registration on 3 events is authorized
4- In Singles, there will be 2 levels of play (“GOLD serie”, and “SILVER series”), the
best players according to their national rank will play in the gold series. The others
will play in the silver series. In Gold and Silver series, the first round will be played in
groups and the following rounds are played according to the knock-out-system. It is
the organizer, who will decide on the date of the draw, the players who will integrate
in singles, the gold series and the silver series. A list of substitute will eventually be
constituted, in case of high attendance.
Doubles (just one series) will be played according to the knock-out system.
Mixed (just one series) will be played according to the knock-out system.

5- In all age categories the minimum number of entries required in any event is set
to 12 boys and 12 girls. The tournament management reserves the right to cancel an
event in an age category or discipline if the minimum number of entries has not been
received.
6- The loosing player of a match will automatically score the following match on that
court or she/he will arrange an adequate replacement.
C/ Shuttles
1- The “DECATHLON - PERFLY FSC 960” is the official tournament shuttlecock in all
age categories.
2- Shuttlecocks from other brands or other specifications are not allowed.
3- In the age categories U11 and U13, 2 shuttlecocks will be provided by the tourna-
ment organisation for each match.
4- In the age categories U15, 3 shuttlecocks will be provided for each match.
5- Beyond the shuttlecocks provided on each game, the extra schuttlecocks are the
responsibility of the players
6- Tournament shuttles can be purchased at match control.
7- The shuttlecocks will be provided for the finals.
D/ Time schedule and venues
1- The individual tournament will be played on 2021 February 19-20-21.
2- During the 3 days, the tournament will be played in 3 different venues. Every age
category will play in one single venue. A pre-match space could be set up in each
hall. The final venue schedule will be published on February 05.
3- On February 19, the tournament starts at 01:00 pm by Mixed (end around 09:00
pm). On February 20 (beginning of single followed by double), the tournament starts
at 09:00 am (end around 09:00 pm). On February 21, the tournament starts at 09:00
am by doubles followed by singles (end around 03:00 pm).
4- There will be a referee in each venue.
5- The decisions of the referees are firm and indisputable.

1- The number of entries for the different age groups will be limited in accordance
with the maximum number of matches that can be played in the assigned venue.
That is about 290 players and/or 750 matches will be accepted for this tournament.

2- Registrations must be done by :
For players licensed in France, using exclusively the badnet link below :

3- Entries for foreign players will be accepted according to the following order
of precedence :
a) Members of National teams
b) Members of Regional teams
c) Members of Club teams (individual entries)
4- For players licensed in France entries will be accepted in the following order
of precedence :
a) Members of National team
b) Members of “Club Avenir” teams
c) Members of Regional teams
d) Members of Club teams (individual entries)
5- Registration closes on January 31, 2021.
6- In case of too many entries in an age group, the tournament organisation makes
the final decision to accept or reject an entry. Not accepted players will be informed
till February 05 by e-mail. Rejected entries will be placed on a reserve list.
For all group entrys it’s necessary to give an order of strength by using the group
entry list, we need that information in case of rejecting.
7- The entry fees in the all age categories are € 18,00 per person for singles
and € 12,00 per person per event in doubles.

8- For players licensed in France, the entry fees must be paid using exclusively
the badnet link above (used when registering), no later than February 05, 2021.
9- For players not licensed in France, the entry fees must be paid according
2 possibilities :
- either they paid the entry fees by badnet, when registering players on badnet
(no later than 05 February, 2021),
- or when the organizer receive the player registration form, the IBAN account
(“Ligue Grand est de Badminton LGEBaD-FIB”) will be sent by email to pay
the entry fees (no later than February 05, 2021).
10- Sending us an e-mail immediately after paying the entry fee including a list
of players you’ve payed for is required. Important in these e-mail is also the name
of country or group and you’re own name.
F/ Seeding and draw and Clothing regulations
1- Seeding is done by or under the responsibility of main referee.
2- The draw will be published on February 05, and will be made according to the RGC
(“Règlement Général des Compétions de la FFBaD”).
3- Playing is only allowed in clothing listed below :
- polo shirt, T-shirt or tank top ;
- shorts (also athletics shorts) or skirt ;
- see also, the advertising regulations of Badminton French Federation which are
applicable to this tournament.
G/ Trophies and ceremony
1- In every event there will be trophies and prizes for the winner and the runner-up.
2- Finalists are bound to attend the prize ceremony for the respective event.
H/ Photos
By entering the tournament players and their legal guardians authorize “Ligue Grand
Est de Badminton” to publish photos made of participants during this tournament on
the tournament website or anywhere else in items published about this tournament.
