                                                                the centre of town, which was in use as a prison from 1820 to 1889
                                                                but is now a fascinating living museum. There is plenty of time to
                                                                browse the many shops and cafes and enjoy the waterfront setting.
                                                                After lunch we return to the hotel with time to relax or take a stroll
                                                                along Oban seafront before dinner.
