TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The standard Australian Livestock & Property Agents Association Ltd (ALPA) terms and conditions
for livestock sale apply to livestock sales made at the KMWL Working Dog Auction. A copy of the
ALPA terms and conditions will be available on the day of the sale.
2. Each entry form must be accompanied by entry fees of $100 inc. GST per dog either by cheque or
EFT
3. KMWL reserves the right to ballot out dogs to achieve the desired mix of dogs, but will consult with
the vendors involved and refund fees if dogs are omitted. KMWL’s decision is final.
4. Bitches on heat are not permitted.
5. Reserve prices on dogs must be submitted to James by Wednesday 22nd July 2020
6. Commission of 6% of the sale price will be charged.
7. Collars are to be sold with the dog. You will require your own tie up lead which can be collected
after auction.
8. Vendors will be paid for dogs within 14 days of sale.
9. No dogs are to be traded prior to auction. No dog other than those to be auctioned may be
demonstrated.
10. In the event of a dog being passed in at the auction the losing bidder will have first right of
negotiation for 30 mins after the fall of the hammer.
11. Vendors who suspect their dog may be aggressive towards stock, other dogs or humans must be
muzzled at all times whilst on the grounds.
12. Vendors should contact KMWL as soon as possible if for any reason their dog is no longer available
for the auction – Nomination Fee of $100 will be non-refundable
13. KMWL reserves the right to change/alter any of these conditions to best suit the club, public image
or vendors needs.
14. Current vaccination certificates must be sent with entry form for all dogs entered into auction. NO
CERTIFICATE, NO SALE. This will be returned after the sale if the dog is not sold.
15. A presale catalogue will be posted to all entrants before the auction.
16. Dogs being demonstrated must not be allowed to work in a fashion which may lead to stock being
mistreated or injured. If so the demonstration will be stopped immediately.
17. Any person involved with handling dogs on the day of the sale, within the perimeter of the grounds
does so at their own risk
18. Dogs of any breed and age will be eligible for entry in the sale. The agent however has the right to
reject or accept dogs on assessment of their working ability.
19. All entries are to be accompanied by a photo of the entered dog and footage of the dog working
stock for assessment and advertising purposes.
20. Sale Entry Fee $100 / dog (Inc. GST) includes advertising and cataloguing. There will be NO REFUND
of entry fee unless accompanied by a vet certificate. Dogs may however be substituted until a week
prior to the sale. $50 of the entry fee will be reimbursed to the vendor if the dog is sold
21. No liability for any accident, damage, injury to dogs, handlers, beasts, ground, spectators, or any
other person or property whatsoever shall be accepted.
22. Dogs nominated cannot be substituted unless substitute dog approved by KMWL.
23. Descriptions of all dogs have been provided by the vendor/s and KMWL bears no responsibility
for the accuracy of these descriptions

Dukes is a very natural paddock dog that is
kind and patient on his stock, he has limited

Duke is calm and strong and with more
experience and training could be a very
good dog.
Duke is a very mature and smart for his
age, he works sheep, cattle and goats
without bark, had had lots of experience
mustering large mobs of dry sheep and
ewes/lambs, he is ready to take home and
go to work.

works well in a team and as had lots of
sheep work experience, mustering large
mobs of dry sheep and ewes and lambs. He
is ready to take home and go to work

of work in front of him.
