CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. The Goulburn Murray Branch of the Australian Stock Horse Society Limited Annual Show is conducted in accordance with the rules and
regulations of the Australian Stock Horse Society Limited. Swabbing may take place
2. It is a condition on entry that competitors, handlers and spectators, whether actually engaged in an event or not, do so at their own risk,
and will indemnify and save harmless The Australian Stock Horse Society, Goulburn Murray Branch and its Committee, Members,
Servants and Sponsors from all claims, suits or demands arising out of an injury, personal or otherwise caused by or arising out of their
presence.
3. The Committee reserves the right to cancel, combine, add or amend both classes and prizes at any time.
4. The Committee reserves the right to refuse admittance to any person as they deem necessary.
5. All entries must be financial members of the Australian Stock Horse Society. Proof of registration and current membership (including
ASHLA) must be produced if required.
6. The Judge’s decision will be final. Any protest must be lodged in writing to the Secretary within 30 minutes after the event and be
accompanied by a fee of $100.00 which is refundable if the protest is upheld. Any other complaints will be handled by our Disputes
Officer.
7. Youth competitors’ age taken as at 21 February 2020.
8. Youth under 13 years can enter unregistered horses in Youth handler and ridden classes.
9. Youth competitors must wear an ASA approved hard hat. Under no circumstances can Youth handle or ride Stallions or Colts.
10. All classes to be ridden in snaffle bits.
11. Classes will not be held waiting for late competitors.
12. Competitors to provide their own Number Holders.
13. In Led classes, entires (2 years and over) must be under the control of a bit in their mouth.
14. All stallions must be doubled tied and/or hobbled when not performing.
15. Late entries will incur a double entry fee

17. Newcomer Ridden Class:
For registered ASH horses who have not competed under saddle in any equestrian discipline prior to 10/02/20 (the start of the 2020
- 2021 Victorian ASH show season).
To be judged as a ridden hack class, looking for three good paces, moderate collection, manners & paces and overall appearance for
future ridden class potential. st th
Each Victorian ASH branch to run a qualifying ‘Newcomer’ class at their branch show. A placing of 1 to 4 at a branch qualifier will
enable

the horse and rider that qualified the horse to compete in the final.
1 place getters at any branch show cannot compete in this class again until the final.
The final is to run at the 2021 Victorian State Championships

Saturday Evening – Meal choice of Chicken parmesan Bake or Chilli Con Carne both served with Veg or Salad and Cheesecake type dessert.
Under 12 Choice of Chicken Nuggets & Chips or Fish Cocktail’s & Chips, and Ice Cream & topping.
At the evening meal we plan have some fun and raise funds for the Holbrook Rural Fire Service.
