Equine Express® II Cooled Semen Transport System
The Equine Express® II has two patents that protect the #1 semen & embryo transport system on the mar-
ket today! More semen is transported in the Equine Express® II than any other disposable semen shipping
box in the world. Many copies have made the market, but no one has been able to surpass the perfor-
mance of the Equine Express® II cooled semen & embryo transport system! Equine Express® II is the first
disposable to utilize all plastic syringes and 60 ml transport tubes in a disposable transport configuration.
#1 Universal Semen Transport Box On the Market!
Shipping semen and having it arrive in excellent shape is the goal of this specially designed disposable
container. Handles shipping volumes up to 120 cc of extended semen. Contains two 50 ml, sterile, all-
plastic syringes. Easy to use - no semen manipulation required. The only USDA-APHIS container approved
for international shipping. University tested for consistent quality assurance. No container tracking or de-
posits needed. When tested under various external conditions at 24 hours, results proved 80.67% total mo-
tility average, 51.33% progressive motility average, and exceeded 77 hours long-range cooling. Outer
packaging consists of a double-wall corrugated box and does not require any sealing tape to ship. Inner
packaging consists of 1.625" thick polystyrene with recessed die-cut cavity for capped, product-full syringe;
gel pack; and polystyrene divider. Fully loaded, unit does not exceed 4lbs.

18Breeder Alert® Halter Foaling Alarm Monitor
The new and improved Breeder Alert system no longer has Main Unit, Antenna, and
coax cable and will not depend on electrical or 12V battery power. This is a big
plus. Now the Transmitter does not have to be within 600 feet of the Main Unit. The
new system has better range, and the Transmitter just has to be within range of the
Pocket Pager (up to a mile depending on obstructions). This will give owner more
flexibility on where horses can roam or be kept. Transmitters and Pagers will still be
powered with 2 AAA batteries.
Another great improvement is that you will no longer have to calibrate angles on the
Transmitter if they shift, as they will not shift with new model. This was always so con-
fusing and was the one user question.
The important thing to remember (especially if you are ordering additional items at a
later date) is that it will need to registered using the "starter" system Serial number so
that the system can accept coding, which has been made very user friendly. The seri-
al number on this unit will begin with the letter “Q”.
Transmitters are not interchangeable with the previous model. Transmitters for the pre-
vious units can still be purchased using the letter “T”+ the serial number will eventually
be phased out.
The new Breeder Alert® Transmitter/Pouch is smaller than a credit card and attaches
easily to mare's halter. When mare lies flat out in foaling position for at least 13 sec-
onds, a signal will be sent from the MaresTransmitter to a pager.

A Culture of the uterus is used to determine if one or more microorganisms are
present or if the mare is ‘clean’ (i.e. free of organisms) and is an important di-
agnostic test. Cultures may be performed as part of a breeding soundness ex-
amination, prior to the onset of the breeding season, during the breeding sea-
son, or at the end of the breeding season. In many instances, a stallion manag-
er may require that a mare be cultured and determined to be ‘clean‘ prior to live
cover or prior to shipping semen. An important reason for culturing a mare prior
to breeding is that the odds are very low that a mare will become pregnant or
stay pregnant with an active uterine infection.

EquiLume Performance Lighting helps breeders meet industry-imposed foal birth dates by in-
creasing the hours of light a horse is exposed to daily. It is widely understood that providing longer
day-length for approximately 90 days beginning on the fifteenth of November (Northern Hemi-
sphere) acts to reduce the production of the hormone melatonin and stimulates the mare’s repro-
ductive system to activate earlier in the year. Therefore, foals of the same official age can be pro-
duced that are older in actual age and have a competitive advantage. The EquiLume Light Mask
provides mobile, precision blue light therapy on an automatic timer, and is powered to last an en-
tire breeding season. It contains a light sensor such that the blue light will only stay on for 30 sec
once activated until environmental light levels drop at dusk. When low light is detected the blue
light will come on for the remainder of the 7-hour active period. If initially activated at 4 pm (16:00)
on the first day of light therapy, the light mask will automatically switch off seven hours later at 11
pm (23:00) every night. The long-life battery has been customized for horses and all weather con-
ditions.

Exodus has once again solved the problem. Our Next Generation® CPS™ Cryogen Preservation Sys-
tem is so simple, anyone can successfully freeze semen on any given breeding day, allowing you to bank
semen for domestic use throughout the entire breeding season without the added stress on the stallion
and dramatically reducing expense and labor. The Next Generation® CPS™ Cryogen Preservation Sys-
tem comes complete with a heavy duty Styrofoam box and five (5) racks enabling the use of : .25 mL, .50
mL and our newly designed 2.5 mL straws. The only tools missing are the centrifuge & N 2 (nitrogen) tank!
The Next Generation® CPS™ is by far the most unique on-farm freezing system ever developed. It has
taken over 8 years to get it to market. The CPS™ has the flexibility to cater to any and all breeders world-
