From the stories that they have read, help them to write a paragraph each.

They should draw brightly coloured illustrations for the paragraphs. (To be

done on A4 sheets). They can follow the following format:

 The name of the book along with that of the author, the illustrator and the

  publisher. The setting of the story could also be included e.g. ‘Charlotte’s

  Web’- This story is about a spider, who proved a very loyal friend by saving

  her friend, Wilbur’s life. It is set on a farm.

 Brief summary of the story

 What you liked and disliked about the story or the character you have chosen

  to write about.

Science

1.   Rain gauge : Rain gauge is an instrument used for collecting and measuring

     the amount of rainfall.

2.   Help your children make a model of a rain gauge with the help of the

     instructions given in the attached document. You could also refer to the

Social Studies Project

We all love to spend time with our grandparents, but have you ever

wondered how their lives were different from ours? This is an

opportunity to talk and find out more from your grandparents or any

other elderly person you know and fill in the worksheet that has been

assigned to you according to your serial number. Put in as much

description and detail as possible. Add extra sheets if necessary.
