What Is YouTube And How To Use It
              For Business

With today's technology, we have the ability to share videos over the Internet.
The most common place to do this is Youtube. YouTube is a video sharing
website where users can view and post videos, comment on videos, join groups,
etc. Essentially, YouTube is a social network with the ability to view and post
videos. YouTube allows paid advertising for businesses, as well as allows
businesses to get their names out there for free. There are millions of potential
viewers worldwide (over 200 million videos viewed daily) that are able to view
your videos. Later, we will discuss what the benefits of being involved with
YouTube are for your business and how a certain company's profit grew over
700% with the help of Youtube promotion, but for now let's start with the basics.
Think About Your Video
Let's say the overall goal is to post a video that is going to help promote your
business in some way - whether that be by posting a tutorial, a commercial, some
tips for your specific business, etc. It is important to remember your main goal
and your target audience because you'll need to keep them interested in your
video. Remember, this is your chance to get your video and business name out
world wide, so it is important to keep the viewer's attention.
How To Set Up Your YouTube Videos
So you are ready to use YouTube. You have all these fantastic videos that you are
ready to share with the cyber world, but what is the next step? First and
foremost, you want to visit http://www.YouTube.com. This is Youtube's website.
On the top right corner there is a link titled "Create Account". Follow the steps
to create your account and then you will be ready to share away with your
videos.
Before attempting to post your videos, remember that there are some
requirements each video has to follow in order to be posted on Youtube. The
majority of the time, this will not be a problem, with the most important
guideline being that the video has to remain under 10 minutes. There are also
file size requirements (100MB or less). The following is a beginners guide to
uploading a video onto YouTube:
Very first thing you have to do to upload a video is click the "Upload Videos"
link. These are located on the top right of the page and are on almost every page
on Youtube.
Next you are going to be asked to briefly describe your video. You will first need
to enter a title and a description for your video. Keep these simple as people are
not going to want to read a long description (they are on a video watching site,
not an E-Book site). After the description section there is an area to enter tags
for your video. Tags are keywords that will help your video be found based off
what the user is searching for. You are going to want to use important words for
this section.
Following the tags section you will have to select a category and language to
place your video in. It is important to select the correct category and language,
as this will also help your video be found to users who are looking for that
specific type of content. Finally, click "Go Upload A File". The next page asks if
you would like your video to be available to the public, or private. If you are
wanting to get your business name out there, you will want to keep this public as
this allows the millions of visitors the opportunity to view your video. Next click,
"Upload Video". This will bring you to a page to browse your computer for the
video you wish to upload. After finding the video, select it and your video will be
live within minutes.
Get People To See The Video
The video you just uploaded is a hidden gem among the sea of the internet. Next,
we need to get people to find this gem. One very basic way to get people to view
your video is to create a link on your business website to your YouTube video, or
have your YouTube video embedded on your site itself. With that said, you can
also link to any sites (business or social networks) that your business is linked
with. Just remember, the more exposure to the video, the better. One great tactic
that many businesses use is promoting some sort of contest through their
YouTube account. The draw of winning something will bring in more viewers.
YouTube also allows users many great ways to get people to your video. When
you initially signed up for YouTube, you created a channel. In other words, if
you signed up as "Business 1", there is now a "Business 1 Channel" on Youtube.
Having your own channel allows you to create your own play lists. This play list
can consist of videos you upload or videos others have uploaded that you have
viewed and want to share with others. Sharing someone else's video may in turn
entice them to share your video.
On the same note, underneath all videos (unless this option is turned off) there is
a section for commenting. Commenting on other videos is a great tool to promote
your business. Keep in mind, this DOES NOT mean to comment on someone's
video "Check out my video...". This is spam, and will most likely be deleted.
What you want to do is comment on a users video that is related to the topic of
your video. Also, you want to keep the comments relevant and not so generic. A
comment like "cool video", '"nice job", etc. will not gain you any attention. A
comment that is more conversational shows the author that you are paying
attention throughout their video as well as reading the comments. This will
possibly strike their interest in clicking your username, and therefore being
brought to your channel to view your videos. The more you do this, the better
the opportunity of getting numerous views is.
There are also the following options on Youtube to help get your video out there:
emails/messages, bulletins, chat, and rating. These will help because you will be
emailing, posting, and chatting on related topics will prove to be useful because
you can get someone's attention who is already interested in the topic your
discussing (what your video is about). This will in all likelihood nudge the other
users to view your profile/videos. Just as any other social network, the more
connections you have, the more the word about your videos and business will get
out there.
A YouTube Success Story
As discussed earlier, the main benefit of getting your videos out on Youtube is
that it give you the opportunity to "advertise" your business to millions of users,
and at the rate of $0. Yes, Free 99. This gives the potential growth of your
business an infinite amount. A great example of this is a blender company called
Blendtec. Blendtec became an internet sensation, mostly in thanks to YouTube.
Blendtec is a company that sells heavy duty blenders. They created a simple,
cheap video series (first video cost them $50 total) on YouTube displaying how
well their blenders work. The names the series "Will It Blend?" They used their
Blendtec blenders to blend random objects such as baseballs, golf balls, glow
sticks, cell phones, magnets, etc. Now, this may sound like just a simple idea it
was extremely effective. The following are the amount of views a couple of these
videos have received: Glow sticks: 6.9 million views, iPhone: 9 million views, golf
balls: 5.9 million views, magnets: 2.7 million views, baseball: 1.4 million views.
Just these five examples produced 25.9 million views for this blender company.
They have many more videos out there (producing over 100 million views), but I
think you get the idea. According to CEO Tom Dickinson in his interview with
inc.com, the company sky-rocketed over 700% in value because of these videos.
The interview can be read at: here
As the above example demonstrates, the potential growth for your business due
to YouTube video promotion is limitless. It is important to remember that
YouTube allows you to promote video for FREE. Target the right audience, come
up with interesting, creative videos and stick with it. Use all the tools Youtube
provides for you to get that video out. Promote/Embed/Link your video with all
that you can. Getting your name out there is the name of the game. Dont believe
me? Just ask Tom Dickinson.

   Three Ways To Upload/Post/Convert
          IMovie To YouTube

For Mac users, iMovie is probably a convenient tool for making, editing their
own home movies so as to upload toYouTube for sharing with more people.
However, uploading iMovie files to YouTube can't be always a smooth run, I did
notice many people complaining about it. This article is delivered for guiding
those who are haunted by the nightmare by providing three common ways to
                      upload iMovie files to YouTube.
YouTube and iMovie
YouTube is the most popular video sharing website for users to upload, share
and view videos. It empowers anyone with an Internet connection the ability to
upload video clips and share them with friends, family and the world. Users are
invited to leave comments, pick favourites, send messages to each other and
watch videos sorted into subjects and channels.
YouTube accepts videos uploaded in most container formats, including WMV
(Windows Media Video), 3GP (Cell Phones), AVI (Windows), MOV (Mac), MP4
(iPod/PSP), FLV (Adobe Flash), MKV (H.264). These include video codecs such
as MP4, MPEG and WMV.
iMovie is a common video editing software application comes with every Mac for
users to edit their own home movies. It imports video footage to the Mac using
either the Firewire interface on most MiniDV format digital video cameras, the
USB port, or by importing the files from a hard drive where users can edit the
video clips, add titles, and add music.
Since 1999, eight versions of iMovie have been released by Apple, each with its
own functions and characteristic, and each of them deal with videos in a way
more or less different. But the most common formats handled with iMovie if
speciality discarded as far as to my research are MOV, DV, HDV, MPEG-4.
Three ways for successful upload iMovie files to YouTube
Solution one and solution two suitable for those who are 100 certainty with their
iMovie files which are fully compatible with YouTube. For smooth uploading,
you are required to get a YouTube account first.
Solution 1: Directly upload iMovie to YouTube
Step 1: Launch iMovie, select the project you want to upload in YouTube.
Step 2: Go to the file menu, click Share, select Export Movie
Step 3: Specify the output file name and directory and then type the video type
and video size.
Solution 2: Post iMovie to YouTube straightly
Step 1: Launch iMovie, choose the project you want to post in YouTube
Step 2: From the Share menu, choose YouTube
Step 3: In the pop-up YouTube windows, specify the name of your YouTube
account, the password, choose the Category and fill in the description and tags
of the project. Tick Make this movie more private on the bottom of the window,
if possible, to limit those who can view the project. Click Next, and then click
Publish. iMovie will automatically export and upload the movie to YouTube.
Step 4: Click Tell a Friend to email friends and your family about your film. You
are also allowed to copy the URL from Tell a Friend window and paste it into an
email you created in your favourite email application if you like. Anyone you
send to email to will be able to follow the URL directly to your movie.
Note: Videos uploaded to YouTube are limited to ten minutes in length and a file
size of 2GB.
Solution 3: Upload to iMovie after conversion
If neither of the above mentioned method works, there is still a third way to turn
to.
Sometimes, your iMovie files may not be recognized by YouTube due to the
versions of iMovie (settings and functions may varies among versions), video
itself (video format difference because of file extension, resolution, video size and
length), compatibility (videos that are completely incompatible with YouTube).
In this circumstance, the best and reliable method is to convert your iMovie files
to YouTube accepted files, iMovie to YouTube converter will be inevitably the
ideal choice.
is an elaborately designed tool for convert iMovie files to YouTube workable
WMV, 3GP, AVI, MOV, MP4, FLV, MKV for smooth uploading with hard-to-
believe conversion speed and second to none output quality. It can also convert
between almost all popular popular file formats like AVI, WMV, MPG, MOV,
VOB, DV, MP4, FLV, 3GP, RM, ASF, SWF, MP3, AAC, AC3, AIFF, AMR, WAV,
WMA etc so as to put on various portable devices, import to video editing
software or play on vast amount video players.
iMovie to YouTube converter can also served as an excellent video editing tool to
meet your specific program requirements. For example, you can cut your video
files to a certain length, or split your video files to smaller ones and select the
proper resolution suitable for demands of YouTube by Clip or Settings
separately. Crop allows you to cut off unwanted black edges from your videos.
Besides, you can also have a good command of the whole process or snapshot
your favourite pictures from the preview window. More can be expected if you
have a try.

Fusionology-About YouTube And Home
              Business

Hardly any other kind of online marketing has become as important as
YouTube. YouTube single handedly shoots down all article directories in terms of
absolute traffic. Therefore, it's no surprise that marketers are using YouTube in
their marketing blueprint to expand their networks.
Essentially, YouTube marketing is nothing but video marketing employing
YouTube. The marketer constructs a video and submits it to YouTube. The video
is followed by a title and a description, both of which are search engine
optimized with keywords. The video becomes visible not only to the YouTube
users but as well to the worldwide public. In many cases, individuals who use
YouTube for building up their business will include a link of their business site in
the video so that it can get traffic.
Because of the immense community that YouTube has, it's a great place to
virally promote home business opportunities. As individuals comment more
about the video, it leads to branding. YouTube can direct a good amount of
traffic to business sites. It needs to be applied efficiently in order to accomplish
this.
YouTube marketing works perpetually at driving this traffic. Once the video is
complete and submitted, it will go on guiding people to the website in an
automated manner. However, the method can prove frightening to some
marketers as it entails producing a video and putting it up on the Net, for global
use.
The video needs to be cautiously thought out and shot so that it doesnt become
commonplace. There are 100s of videos on YouTube in assorted niches already
and good SEO is needed to make the video visible over the rivals'. It's also
crucial to put extremely interesting content that holds viewer appeal.
1) Make videos less than 5 minutes. The videos that get attention the most are
the ones that are short and sweet and get to the message the quickest. If someone
is in need of info in a video format, they want solutions yesterday. The Net lends
itself to short loyalties. Meaning, a lot of people want quick fixes. Most of all,
your video should supply value.
2) Communicate with other users. Like a social networking site, it's crucial that
you create a good profile page and use it to market yourself and your business.
Spend time daily adding friends and subscribing to others channels. Stay inside
your niche and build relationships. Adding comments, leaving your name, brand
and links will help with marketing.
3) Use proper keywords with the video. Apart from having a beneficial video,
you must also place targeted keywords in your title, description and tags. Search
engines don't read videos, you must write about what the video is. Particular
keywords will result in higher rankings.
4) Follow popular users in your niche. What better way to learn than from
studying the best. Make certain you comment on videos of those you respect in
the industry. Tying yourself with proven leaders will increase exposure for you.
Study their videos/video description/keywords/tag words. This will help hugely.
Lastly, be sure to use a good marketing blueprint for you home business
opportunity.
Driving Targeted Traffic With YouTube
              Marketing
During the last two years affiliate marketing using videos has really come a long
way. This relatively new way of advertising has proven to be very effective at
driving targeted traffic to your site. Videos uploaded on sites like YouTube,
Google Video and Daily Motion are drawing millions of viewers. If a URL to
your site is embedded in a posted video that becomes really popular you can
draw lots of traffic to your site and make lots of sales.
However if you are not used to making videos the idea can seem quite daunting.
It is actually easier than you would imagine to create your own video using
online tools. You do not need expensive equipment.

nowadays. You can make one entirely out of screen shots that you can record

are edited together. You can have a voice over with a series of still images that
you have strung together using Windows Movie Maker or one of the many free
cross-platform editors that you can find online.
Tips For Affiliate Marketing With YouTube
YouTube is by far the most popular site when it comes to affiliate marketing. In
order to succeed in driving traffic with your video you should -

convert members to by keeping the content "on topic"

already
* Add the URL of your site as a descriptive element on the video as you are
uploading it so that people can easily click on it and be led to your site
* Provide hard text, as much of it as you are allowed, describing the video or
even transcribing it as this is what the search engine robots will be reading when
they search your video to index it and rank it on the search engine pages
* Give your video a great title with a keyword in it that people commonly use to
search for what you sell
Once you have created a video it is also a really good idea to upload it to as many
sites as possible. There are a ton of software tools on the market that can help
you upload your videos to 25 of the most popular video directory sites online.
