Examples of overuse injuries: sustained during aerobic exercise.
1 Shin splints – is defined as a throbbing ache at
the lower aspect of the leg due to fatigued and
irritated muscles at the shin. Females are at a
greater risk of developing shin splints due to
   reduced bone mineral density.

2 Compartment syndrome – occurs as a result of
repetitive overuse that causes the fascia surrounding
the calf muscles to reduce their elasticity. This
results in a build-up in pressure around the calves
   while exercising.

3 Patellar tendinopathy – also known as jumper’s
knee. Poor function of the quadriceps and impaired
biomechanics can cause pain and overuse of the
patella tendon during high-impact landing like
   jumping.

footwear is necessary to absorb the force and shock

Weight Training
It is recommended that people of all ages consult
a health professional to design a training regimen
that is safe for their age and capabilities. Having

According to studies, the most common injury sustained
during weight training is people dropping the weights
on themselves. Therefore, if you are unable to complete
one full set of repetitions, it is likely that you are
lifting more weight than you can handle.

Now that you are using the right amount of weights, it

Beneath the deep, dark hue is
a smoldering allure of red berry
                                   and plum characters. Despite the
                                   seemingly sharp impression, the
                                   palate is softened with rounded,
silky tannins that go quietly into
a gentle finish. Given the depth
of fruit flavours, we are looking
