1Introduction
Registration for Frankfurter Buchmesse 2021:
Your savings thanks to funding through the German BKM
(Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media)
After a year of video calls, online networking and Zoom parties, we look forward to welcoming
you again at the 73rd Frankfurter Buchmesse 20-24 October 2021. We will be providing a meeting
place for the industry, for authors and for readers - making sure that your books and products
remain in the spotlight.
The well-being and safety of our exhibitors, trade visitors, the public and our employees is our top
priority. To ensure that hygiene and social distancing rules can be adhered to this year, stand sizes
will start at 8sqm, and the aisles within the exhibition halls will be widened.
We are very grateful that the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM)
is again providing funding for 2021, which we are passing on directly to you. This should enable
smaller and medium-sized companies to exhibit as well.
Our cancellation policy:
Cancellation by the customer:
- Until 31 May: 0 % cancellation fee
- 1 June – 31 July: 20 % handling fee
- From 1 August onwards: 100 % cancellation fee
- From 1 August: stand size reduction (= partial cancellation): 100 % fee on the cancelled area
In case of cancellation by the organiser due to the Corona pandemic:
- Until 30 June 2021, the customer is entitled to a refund of 100%
- As of 1 July 2021, the organiser reserves the right to charge a share of a maximum of 20 %
of the agreed rental fee
In the event of cancellation by the customer due to force majeure (e. g. official travel restrictions),
the organiser reserves the right to charge a maximum of 50% of the agreed rental fee for the
expenses incurred by the organiser.

If you book a stand space or register your participation in the LitAg or one of the Collective
Stands, you will automatically be charged two obligatory fees. This way you will play your part
in an environmentally sustainable trade fair and benefit from our comprehensive marketing
and communication services.

Tellit
Tellit (tellitapp.com) is a social media and content management tool that helps monitor activities and publish posts. With
the help of the tool, it is possible to search for certain keywords on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, for example, and
analyse the coverage of your company. In addition, picture galleries and slideshows with your photos and posts can be
created, and “social walls” can be published on your company website. As a registered exhibitor, you can use Tellit for one
year at no additional cost. To do so, please send an e-mail with your customer number to HYPERLINK hello@tellitapp.com.
Tellit was developed as part of the EU project EMMA (2017 - 2018), in which the Frankfurter Buchmesse was a project partner.
