Rising Star Dance
Session Class Descriptions
These “dance for fun” session classes are a great way to try dance with a shorter commitment.
It’s the perfect choice for beginner-level students who want to see if dance is something they
would be interested in! We offer a variety of session classes multiple times a year.
Each session is 4-6 weeks depending on the time of year.
Mini & Me - Dance or Music
Spend some precious tiem wiht your mini as you explore the word of
dance or music together! Grandparents are welcome too! Help your
child work on their listening and motor skills while having fun together.
Age 2 1/2 - 4
Me & My Me & My Teddy Bear
Come learn to dance with a Teddy Bear! This class is a great first step
Teddy Bear into dance. Each dancer will receive their own Teddy Bear to hold and
hug as they learn a routine to “Me & My Teddy Bear”.
Preschool Dancemix
Young children love to move to our non-stop energy filed classes. They will learn fun short song
and dance routines as they build motor skills. There will be plenty of exercise as they hop, skip,
jump and twirl their way through class.
Musikgarten
Age 3 - 5
Find out why Musikgarten has no equal in early childhood music education.
Simply put, children love music. Music touches all spheres of child
development: language and literacy development, pattern recognition
skills—the basis for mathematical learning, and social and emotional
growth; all are positively impacted by being involved in music.
By focusing their natural inclination, Musikgarten helps young children
develop a love of music and the skills to play it through a series of activity-
filled, age-appropriate lessons. Your child isn’t too young to start learning
the Musikgarten way.
Mermaid Medley
This class is for mermaid lovers! Dancers will learn the basics
Medley of ballet as they dance to a medley of Mermaid inspired
songs.
Frozen Friends Adventure
This class is a must for every Frozen lover. Each class is
filled with all our favorite Frozen music and dancers will
Princess Ballet
Dancers will have a royal ball as they dance and twirl to our favorite
Ballet princess music. Come dressed in your favorite princess dress!
Unicorn & Rainbows
Come join us on a magical adventure where your dancer will
explore the basics of dance and learn to leap over the rainbow!
& Rainbows
Rock-n-Troll
Age 4 - 6
Rock out and have a great time in this Trolls themed class.
Dancers will learn a short routine as they dance to our favorite
songs from Trolls!
Mermaid Tumbling
Students will learn the basics of tumbling in this class to a
medley of Mermaid inspired songs. Tumbling
Island Princess
This class is a tropical themed adventure for your little princess. Dancers will learn
ballet basics as they dance to songs from Moana, The Little Mermaid and more.
Under the Sea Musical
Come join us on an adventure under the sea where your
dancer will explore the basics of dance and musical theater!
Fairy Garden Ballet
Session classes are a great way to try dance with a shorter commitment. Dancers will
learn the basics of ballet in this class as they imagine and dance in their fairy garden.
Hip Hop Dance Party
This non-stop class will keep your child moving to a variety
of kid friendly hip hop songs.Hip Hop
Hip Hop continues to evolve into one of the most exciting dance genres of today. Students
will learn urban style, which is a combination of popping and locking mixed with Jazz steps.
What makes this class popular with parents is that we prescreen the music to make sure it is
appropriate.
Intro to Dance
Intro to This class is designed for students with little or no previous dance
experience who want to explore both ballet and jazz. We start to
Ages 5 & Up
build their dance vocabulary of basic steps, which are combined to
create a fun dance. Students will also work on learning to move in
time with the music, which sets the foundation to move forward in
other areas of dance.
Power Pom
Come shake it up in this fun class where students will learn the
fundamentals of pom which places an emphasis on sharp, clean pom Power
motions and formations. No previous experience is needed. Pom
Jazz
Come explore the basics of jazz as we build your dance vocabulary and learn
steps to a fun jazz dance.
Dance & Dance & Tumble
This class is designed with no previous dance experience. Students
will learn basic dance skills along with tumbling skills in class. This is a
Combo Classes - Ages 5 & Up
great way for your dancer to experience both dance and tumbling. This
class encourages increasing flexibility and balance while becoming
stronger in a fun dance filled class.
Ballet & Tap
Dancers will work on building their ballet and tap skills in this class and combine their new
steps into a fun routine.
Jazz & Tap
Combo classes are great for experienced dancers who want to improve their skills or
want to try new styles of dance. This class will focus on both Jazz & Tap skills.
Jazz & Lyrical
Combo classes are great for experienced dancers who want to improve their
skills or want to try new styles of dance. This class will learn combos and other
concepts of both Jazz & Lyrical.Boys Only HIp Hop
This class is designed for boys only! Hip Hop continues to evolve into one of the
most exciting dance genres of today. Students will learn urban style, which is a

Competition Team Prep
Competition Team Prep Classes
Our competitive team programs gives dancers the opportunity to pursue their passion in
a more serious environment. New students, wanting to audition for one of our competition
teams, need to take a prep class. This is also a great class for current team dancers who
want to try and move up a level.

Kidz Bop Cabaret Camp
Summer Camps
Let’s Get Boppin! We are going to let our inner star shine as we sing and dance along to
our favorite Kidz Bop tunes. As a team we will work on singing boldly and dancing like
nobody’s watching!
Celebrate Arts Camp
Let your child experience the arts this summer! This camp will help your child
explore their creative talents through music, singing, painting and dancing!
Session Class Attire:
Dancers should wear something comfortable to move in!
• Any color leotard/tank, tights, leggings, etc are fine.
• Leggings/pants or tights are required for all classes.
• T-shirt and sweatpants are fine for boys and hip hop classes.
• Hair should be pulled back.
