Faith Forma on Reminder
Registra!on for Children’s Faith Forma!on is ongoing for the 2021-2022
Academic Year. For children who a1ended last year, please email Carolyn Gale with the
child’s name, age and grade. Classes are available for grades
Kindergarten - 8th Grade. 2nd Grade is First Communion prepara!on. 8th Grade is
Confirma!on prepara!on.
For children that are new to the Parish or the program, it is requested that you make an
appointment with Carolyn.
Candidates for First Communion and Confirma!on will need to have a copy of their
Bap!smal Cer!ficate.

We are happy to announce that post COVID, Family Promise is once again open to guests and
volunteers.
Sacred Heart supports the program with funds and with volunteers. Our Parish will be hosting once
at the Family Promise house from August 30-September 2.
We hope that you will be able to assist us on one of these dates as:
(1) Evening Hosts: 5:30 p.m.– 8:00 p.m.
(2) Overnight Hosts: 8:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
(3) Meal Preparers: Please bring a meal to the Home for the families and evening hosts before 5:30
p.m. on your scheduled day;
(4) Money donors: needed for purchasing breakfast and lunch foods and for other needed
household and guest expenses. Kindly make your check payable to Sacred Heart Church with a

BEREAVEMENT WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
The six session Grief Support Workshop has moved to September.
The workshop will be held twice a week for three weeks on Monday and Thursday
mornings from 9:30 AM - 12 Noon in Room 9-10 in the Education Building.
Beginning date is Monday, September 13, followed by September 16, 20, 23, 27 and
ending September 30. Anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one is
welcome.
