and rightfully so. The Tyrolean mountain village, with its 2680 inhabitants, together with the neighbouring
villages of Pettneu, Flirsch and Strengen, fulfils the highest demands and yet still retains much of its origi-

Daily choice lift passes are person-specific (photo) and therefore not transferable.The points are redeemed automatically the first time you pass the electronic reading devices, whereby the time shown on the reading

were issued. Out of fairness, we offer the following: points remaining from the previous season can be used up until 10 Jan. of the following winter season. When a new lift pass is purchased by 10 Jan. points remaining
from the previous season will be added on (older points will be forfeited without exception!) up to a maximum of the same number of points contained in the newly purchased daily choice lift pass. Points left over from
the previous winter season will be forfeited without exception after 10 Jan. of the current season. Residual points can no longer be taken into account from this date, even if a new lift pass is purchased. Subject to the tariff
regulations of the Arlberg ski pass pool.

Ski Arlberg
The birthplace of alpine skiing is once again making skiing history. Thanks to four new lift systems ope-
ning in December 2016, it is Austria’s largest linked-up ski area. A portrait of the region, which has shaped
the development of ski history like none other.
88 lifts and cable cars, 305 kilometres of marked ski runs, 200 kilometres of deep snow runs in
back country terrain. Numbers that speak volumes. They outline the unparalleled dimensions that
ski aficionados have always appreciated about the Arlberg. And it is not only its dimensions that make
Austria’s number 1 ski region so incredibly fascinating. On the contrary, its sheer epicness is combined
with an omnipresent, lively enthusiasm for the two “planks”, which have always meant the
world to those on the Arlberg. An almost cult-like devotion to skiing has fed the Arlberg Myth. The birth-
place of champions to this day, where big names from Ski Club Arlberg have garnered an incredible 85
medals at various Olympic Games and World Championships.
Run of Fame
Arlberg celebrates its ski pioneers and legendary ski stars with the Run of Fame, an equally new and
spectacular ski circuit. It lures with the challenge of 85 kilometres of runs and an incredible 18,000 metres
in altitude difference. The circuit leads through the entire Arlberg ski area and reminds skiers of the many
great sons and daughters of Arlberg in the Hall of Fame at the Flexenbahn-Topstation.

The art of encountering
Bouillabaisse on the mountain, or sumpturous creations by international celebrity chefs - the culinary of-
ferings from St. Anton am Arlberg are just as diverse as its ski slopes. In late October, an impressive seven
restaurants were awarded 105 points and thirteen toques in total from the Gault Millau Guide. Which me-
ans this international winter sports destination continues to offer its guests the highest standards of haute
cuisine. And those who prefer simpler fare, will enjoy remaining true to the popular Tyrolean delicacies.
The Kunsthalle arlberg1800, the highest contemporary art and concert hall at 1,800m above sea level, is a
structural addition to the traditional Alpine Tourist destination St. Christoph, while the choice artistic and
musical offerings add valuable content.
The musical porgramme ranges from classical, jazz, crossover and pop concerts to locally rooted tradi-
tional folk and parlour music, accompanied by master classes, workshops and theme weeks, all allowing
visitors to engage in a hands-on encounter with sound and space, composers and performers and to expe-
rience music with all their senses. Together with the gallery artbox in the pedestrian zone and the artroom
