SICCO Vacuum Desiccators – good to know.
Accelerated drying
A storage in a vacuum is ideal for all oxygen- and humidity sensitive
substances. Additionally, the vacuum accelerates the drying of the
stored samples.
Rugged design
Massive walls with a thickness of up to 25 mm allow to apply a vaccum
of up to 10-4 Torr.
Clear storage
As the door opens to the front, the producst can be clearly arranged
and stored on several levels.
Tight closure
By means of the special closures, the door with the circular silicone
sealing is strongly pressed on the frame so that a vacuum can be
established inside the desiccator.
Vacuum gauge
All Vacuum Desiccators are supplied with a permanently fixed,
easy-to-read vacuum gauge. Next to it, there are two needle valves
to regulate the flow during evacuation or flushing of the desiccator
with gas.

SICCO Desiccators for gas-filling – good to know.
Quick couplings for tubes
Adapted for the connection of the delivered tubes for gas-filling.
Through an integrated valve, the couplings are sealed in case no tubing
is connected.
Cylinder lock
Avoids unintended opening of the desiccator and thus escape of introdu-
ced gases. The cylinder lock is already delivered with the model Super-
Star-Desiccator, all other sizes can be equipped with this modification
on request.
Hygrometer
The Hygrometer is fixed at the door and does not handicap the user
during loading or unloading of the desiccator.
Shelves
Depending on the model, up to four shelves are included in the scope of
delivery and can be mounted in freely choosable distances.
All shelves are telescopic so the complete surface is perfectly reachab-
le. Further shelves can be reordered as needed.
Panels
The desiccator offers all-round visibility. You can either choose panels
made of acrylic or borosilicate glass and in all dimensions.

SICCO Automatic Desiccators – good to know.
Automatic Drying
Integrated drying units withdraw the inside relative humidity in the
desiccator by means of Silicagel.
Aluminium frame
The Aluminium frame allows a modular set-up and thus easy adaption
to customized dimensions.
Shelves
Depending on the model, up to four shelves are included in the scope of
delivery and can be mounted in freely choosable distances. All shelves
are telescopic so the complete surface is perfectly reachable. Further
shelves can be reordered as needed.
Hygrometer
The Hygrometer is fixed at the door and does not handicap the user
during loading or unloading of the desiccator.
Rubber seal and magnetic catch
A circular rubber seal is on glued on the door frame to avoid damages
during loading and unloading of the desiccator. Additionally, the seal is
pressed onto the frame by the magnetic catch and closes the interior
tightly.

Heat-resistant Borosilicate glass
Hot samples that have been predried in an oven can be directly stored
and cool down in dry and protected atmosphere in the desiccator. The
borosilicate glass panels are resistant to many chemicals and solvents
in laboratories.
Aluminium frame
The Aluminium frame allows a modular set-up and thus easy adaption
to customized dimensions.
Shelves made of stainless steel
Resistant to heat and many chemicals. Depending on the model, up to
four shelves are included in the scope of delivery and can be mounted in
freely choosable distances.
Hygrometer
The Hygrometer is fixed at the door and does not handicap the user
during loading or unloading of the desiccator.
Smooth-running casters
Maxi-Desiccators are delivered with four casters. It can be freely moved

SICCO Glove Boxes – good to know.
Position of the glove port openings
Distance and diameter of the glove port openings are ergonomically
designed. The complete workspace is accessible.
Transfer Chamber
Through the lateral transfer chamber, products can be easily inserted
into the workspace. The transfer chamber can be flushed with gas
separately. The tray extends into the workspace for easy removal of
inserted products.
Graded exhaust connector
By means of an exhaust connector, our Glove Box can be connected
directly to an exhaust system. The graded exhaust connector allows
connection of different tube diameters.
Cable lead-ins
For lead-in of cables for electrical power supply for devices (such as
scales) in the glove box or insertion of measuring probes to control
e. g. humidity or oxygen content.
Suitable model for all requirements
The modular aluminium frame allows simple adaptions for standard and
custom manufactures. Our standard models can be newly combined on
request and their dimensions adapted to your requirements.
